The young Dobwalls side showed a lot of promise in their first game together and won convincingly in the end.

Both teams played some attractive football and created several chances.

But it was the home sides clinical finishing that gave them the upper hand.

With a number of players to come into the squad things look promising for the coming season.

thought we (grampound) played quite well against dobwalls considing the different levels of football we are playing.

but like you said your finishing made the difference and our your fitness level came thou at the end

It was an entertaining game to watch.

Most of the lads were only playing U18s football last season and yes their fitness levels were better but you gave a good account of yourselves.

The game was played in a good natured manner throughout and I am sure you will do well this season.
