Dave Deacon Posted June 11, 2010 Report Share Posted June 11, 2010 Torpoint AFC Duchy League Managerial Appointment On behalf of the committee of Torpoint AFC, I am delighted to announce that with immediate effect Paul Andrews has been appointed as manager of Torpoint Athletic’s Duchy League side. We wish outgoing manager Neill Williams all the best with his new challenge and thank him for his hard work. The committee have decided to utilise this excellent opportunity to use our Third team to introduce our more promising youngsters to Adult football. Paul joins us from a successful Tamarside Under 18’s team who he last season guided to a League and Cup double, as well as winning the Devon Cup. Paul is happy to now be a part of TAFC and hopes to bring the success he has enjoyed at youth level into Mens football. We now have in place a full structure to allow any promising youngsters in Torpoint to progress from youth football to Peninsula league level. I look forward, together with our Head of Football Ricky Cardew, to working with Paul to put in place a true “three teams but one club” mentality at The Mill.
