Polperro 13 - 0 St Columb Major

After a very turbulent month on and off the field, Polperro got back to what they do best and played some fantastic 1 and 2 touch football. Excellent attitude and team effort today lads, Well Done!

Well done to St Dennis (league champions) from Polperro FC. You were the most consistent all season and deserved the title, hope you do well next year!

Um.... Cally were 1-0 up at half time. Was the only chance they had in the game. We went 3-1 up after the break and cally had a penalty in the last min. We missed a few chances In the 1st half and not playing a full strengh side with a couple of injuries. The manager came on and we had a lad from the 2nd team on the bench. In a attacking sense we dominated. Just glad every1 is back for wednesday night for the game against polperro. Cally battled well and can certainly take some credit out of the game.

Blimey, sad endictment of a once proud SWPL club that their 2nd team couldn't raise a side.

I don't think their 3rd team had a game yesterday and even if they did, shouldn't the 2nd team take priority and surely then between two teams they would have been able to find eleven players for the trip to Edgecumbe.

Mind you, I notice that the 1st team got hammered 7-1 at home to Parkway yesterday so maybe the 2nd team players had been droughted in to help out the 1st team??
