the big number9
I would say Adrian Partridge of Probus... he can throw the ball further then he can kick it. Biggest throw & ears in cornish football.

A One And A Six
Darin Thomas of Redruth United has the longest throw ive seen since ive been playing. The amount of assists he has made with that throw is unbelievable, better then any corner! :c:
MOUNTAINEER
NOT CORNISH FOOTBALL but a marker to aim at. http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/19012010/58/...row-record.html It doesn't state the size of his EARS. The video shows a slope, that may affect the distance thrown. Years ago I played a game at Tregoney, I remember that as the steepest end to end slope I had ever played on, it must have a bearing on the final outcome. Mike Odgers
Years ago all the big throw ins were seen in North London Regularly at White Hart Lane the ball could get to Edinburgh and even Brazil but not to be out done Arsenal players even reached Overmars. Wasn't there a player called Venus? SORRY

Guest syndony
I'm an old guy who played football professionally back in The Day (an ignoble career of 3 years), and one stop was in the WFL with the Birmingham Americans. We had a QB from Grambling, a big, tall strong kid named Matthew Reed. I personally witnessed him throw a ball 92 yards with a short 2-step running start, just a tad more than a guy stepping up in the pocket

Hutchspur
gotta agree with gerrard8 on this one. Scott Curnows throws were ridiculous! Have seen darin thomas and few others but scotts are definately longer, Nick Mill would agree..... Also Andy Johns that played for mount ambrose, illogan utd and trispen has hell of a long throw. cockerkneeboy
From what i can remember Johnny Webster of Carharrack had a rather long throw, 99.9% sure there was a little bit of spin on it as well although he would never admit it and most people were not going to argue that with him Chacewater v Carharrack (Used to love those games and got plenty of great memories from them) When football was football
James S
I wonderd when Johnny Webster would be brought up, back in the day when robartes first started you didnt need free kicks, you needed throw ins!
