North Petherwin 1 Southgate 2

A well fought local derby with both teams fighting to the final whistle. Petherwin led 1-0 at half time but Southgate fought back and withstood a late onslaught that saw the home side have a goal disallowed.

bocastle 2-4 launceston utd !!! boscastle were one up at half time after playing some good football but in the second half things changed with launceston bringing on a 1st team regular and he started to make them play some good football but the turning point was when the ref gave a shocking pen when he thought that one of our players had pushed him from behind but with all our players goal side the only player able to push him was his own player and the player who was fouled got up and though he was going to get booked for diving then realised ref had given pen which was put away then came another pen which was clearly outside of the box and again ref made a mistake which when he consulted our lino who was right in line and was told the foul was outside didn't change his mind and carryied on the the orginal decision this gave launceston a 2-1 lead then with boscastle pushing for and equaliser launceston hit us on the break and scored a great goal 3-1 then back came boscastle with a goal to make it 3-2 and then with boscastle in all out attack launceston broke away again to score there 4 th must say well played to launceston and after the game they thought we were hard done by the two pens they do say that in a season these things even there selves out so to the team we have to shocking pens against i'm sorry now and understand how your feeling !!! good luck to launceston for rest of season !!!

Duchy Div 1

Grampound 1-1 Week St Mary

A good, even game played on a sticky pitch. Both teams had opportunities to win the game, with Steve Moorcroft heading home a corner for Grampound and Rob Humbly scoring for the visitors minutes before half-time after a terrible mix-up in the Grampound defence. A draw was probably a fair result in the end.
