somersetspur
Well here we go,Spurs top of the League ,and playing great, and guess what. The vultures are starting to circle. Once again this is only a rumour, but it is touted that the old wine drinking purple nose has taken a shine to one of our players,Luka Modric. According to reports.Alex Ferguson is prepared to offer Micheal Carrick plus cash. I say, NO WAY, f--- off and leave us alone. My question to Spurs and other fans,if you had the choice who would you prefer. LUKA MODRIC or MICHEAL CARRICK.?
A One And A Six
Tough one but id choose go Carrick. Modric is proving himself to be a top Premier League player though, especially since Redknapp took over Spurs.
redruth_07
Modric is more important to the system we play and signing Carrick would disrupt the THudd, Palacios partnership that has worked wonders thus far. Let Carrick keep missing penno's Oop North! COYS FOYG
tms no9
At this moment in time i would have Modric but Carrick can be and has been over the last few years a world class player so a toughy but like i said at this moment in time it has to be modric
cockerkneeboy
I cannot see Harry doing business like that (Unless there is something in it for him of course) To be honest though he has got the spuds playing well even though were only 3 games in to a new season and fair play to him for that (I always knew he was a good manager just a shame West Ham got rid of him) If these rumors are true which i doubt very much then i would keep Modric as he suits the style that the spuds play Fecking two games a season i seriously want to win and we fecked it up on Sunday (Barstewards) We got the heather sellers tommorow night (Millwall if you dont know) i cannot fecking wait :D
somersetspur
From what I saw of the match West Ham were our equal, and despite Ledley hitting the crossbar in the first half, the Hammers had the best of it. Second half,Carlton Cole was always a thorn in our side, and scored a cracker, but you had that feeling that Spurs just had that little more threat, with Modric and Huddlestone pulling the strings and with the on-fire Defoe up front we were always in the game. When Defoe scored, there was only one winner. Give Zola and Clarke credit, they are doing well. Back to my own question. Its Modric every day of the week for me. GuvDRed
I gotta say SS,Modric is a good player but i think this is one of those daft rumours the press just love to make-up.No disrespect to Spurs but i would'nt swap Carrick and can't see him being interested in going back,He's won 3 back to back titles since he joined,And Sir Alex has already said how much he rates him. Scholsey and Giggsy are both coming to the end of there careers,And so there for the future is Carrick,Anderson and Fletcher. :c:
Guest mariner
SS, i very much doubt you would of been asking this same question last season. Modric has played well 3 games so far Carrick has played well for 3-4 seasons, so a no brainer for me Crrick evry day of the week.

baldy
Never had much time for Carrick. He's 1 of several who can play in his position and I have said before that I think Huddlestone will be a tremendous player. Players that can do special things are few and far between. Modric every time.
