Percy Smollett
Great performance by Saltash who I expected to get beat 5-0. Parkway did under perform though especially in terms of finishing. On another day the scoreline could have been very different. Well done Saltash. midfield four in the wall.
Parkway Evans, Thompson, Thurkettle, Mitchell, Mee, D Smith, Blackmore, Dainels, K Smith, Avery, Young. (Worth, Norrie) Not a gr8 day at the office. Minimum Saltash deserved was the draw.
Never Touched Him Ref
Fair enough but Parkway should have won easy with the chances they had. They have proved now in that league what they're about with the demolish of Tavistock on sat and could have been 5 again last night. Torpoint were lucky to win on tuesday and the other gobshites Bere Alston have had an appalling start!!!! It really is there for the taking for Parkway with Bude pushing them hard. Bere Alston v Torpoint this sat, can't wait at least 1 but maybe both to drop points, just a shame they can't both lose!!!! Parkway for the title!!! gaffa p
thought my lads (saltash) played exceptionally well wed night, 1st half i dont think parkway could of grumbled if we went in half time a couple goals up, we missed several good chances. we continued our good form in the 2nd half but with less clear cut chances. parkway got a penalty on 75 minutes which was a tad contravershall but understandable why was given. this made it 1all an parkway then finished the game very strong and our keeper made 2 or 3 great saves to keep us in the game. overall i think we should of won but we could of easily lost the game in the last 15 minutes, so a draw was probably the right result.... 2 very good teams on the day, the crowd certainly would of got there value for money, and a great advert for the ecpl.... i hope we (saltash) continue this form on through the season :clapper:
