Ear_2_the_ground
Wasn't impressed by Man Utd today what so ever. Didn't look like the same team that has dominated in the last 2 seasons. Burgertov, one word - RUBBISH

gillo10
How did i know these topics were going to be started after the 1st games!? United are now a terrible side, Spurs are going to break the top 4, and Arsenal will rule the world! The last few seasons has seen United start slowly, 4 points from 4 games last season, and look what happened then! Hull started well last year and only stayed up by the skin of their backsides. Best judge teams after more than 90 mins.

Guest
What a remarkable manager Ferguson is. He puts out a side that will do the job and they did. Birmingham did their best but you don't win games in your own half. They did buck up at times but not good enough. A typical Man U start to the season with a much depleted side. isaac rosenberg
Usual ManUre start, even though the league does its best to help them by giving them a relegation candidate at home for the first game every year. Last time they visited Stamford Bridge on the opening day, of course, they lost. If they played three top sides they'd be nine points down on the leaders by September. Why don't they ? Cos SKY TV call the shots and Purple Nose won't talk to MOTD, so he's top box office for them. United in mid-table would be bad for advertising revenue. I see Sir Ape and Benitez are moaning about referees already. Classic Drogba winner, as opposed to the Croxteth lunatic scrambling a lucky deflection in off the post against the mighty Brum. Scum are missing Ronaldo already. Get used to the Charity Shield result, you've got a lot more coming second to look forward to ! :drink:

As for some of the other stunning comments, 3 back to back titles,Thanks Sky Back to back Champs League finals,Thanks Sky JT's penalty miss,i'm guessing Sky picked the ground? Thanks Sky Jose Mouriniho say's he'd consider United job then does advert for Prem for you guessed it Sky 2years back United v Reading draw (on Sky) Last year United v N'Castle draw (on Sky) This year United get a win (on Sky) Disaster!!!!!!! Hodges21
I'd Say Chelski were much more boring to watch than ManYoo were. Plus they only won by luck. Yet again. It's going to be a tight season again, but i can't see arsenal being in the top 4 even though they killed Everton. Unless The peado decides to spend some money in jan! But i'm going to say Utd will improve in next 4 games and i think they'll win the league. Chelsea will take F.A cup again and carling cup will be a shock win by a lower team. Champions league will be going to Spain again i think.

gillo10
Smithy I cant hekp but think you are being a touch picky here. Sure, United fans have sung about Whinger as have Arsenal fans about Sol, Everton about Munich/Hillsborough, Scousers about.... who knows what as it goes a bit squeaky! There are folks from all clubs who sing nasty things, fight using bricks etc and even hand out plastic flags to create an atmosphere. You cant blame the club for what people views or opinions, if you wish to do that may I suggest emmigration, I hear Iran and Zimbabwe are both lovely ;)
