Billy The Kid
A very good result tonight against camb park fhfl1 team in a really competitive game. The first half saw both teams playing some neat passing football with Camborne Park having a good spell of pressure but not troubling Dale Paull in the Carharrack goal to much. With both teams creating clear cut chances it was very surprising that at half time the score was 0-0. After some good positive talking at half time Carharrack stepped up a gear and after some good work by Stuart Smeeth he calmly slotted home the first goal. Carharrack then made 3 changes (including the return of Steve Sansbury in only his second competitive match in 9 months due to a bad injury welcome back Steve) and Brendon Dennis wasted no time in adding the second goal, and with Carharracks winger Ashley Smeeth having a man of the match performance it wasn't long before Brendon Dennis added his second and Carharracks 3rd goal. Well done to all the squad tonight and a big thank you to Camborne Park and Troon A.F.C. for hosting tonights game. Last Carharrack friendly Monday 17th August away to Illogan 3rds kick off 6.30pm
