redruth_07
Wouldn't be too upset by that, I watched the Millwall Saints game on sat and they look a good shout for promotion
cornishatheart
Milwall do play good football, but i was disapointed with the performance. At least its a few less games that we have got this season, unless this embargo is lifted our season will go down the pan, our squad is so light on the numbers side, we need 3/4 more players starting with Steve Lovell(Eddie Howe's brother) then a few of Mr Redknapps youngsters. :drink:
redruth_07
I'm sure we will be able to lend you plenty as we haven't entered a reserve team this year due to the massive gaps between fixtures. We instead intend to loan the bulk of our older, youngersters out. Think we sent David Button down last year? We have already sent a few off to Yeovil so i'd expect these deals quite soon. cornishatheart
Yes David(Butterfingers)Button came down for a month or two, He was useless... We needed a commanding experienced keeper and he didnt fit the bill... He will be a good keeper in the future, but not one to play in a relegation scrap in league 2. Hope he sends down a 3 players, defender, centre mid and a attacking mid. Any players that would suit the bill?
redruth_07
Dean Parrett would be a quality signing in centre mid, but not sure if they would send him to League 2... Dorian Dervite spent last season at centre half at Southend, the fans there really rated him. Our best young attacking mid, just joined Orient on loan unfortunately, Andros Townsend, he would of fitted the bill perferctly, spent 6 months at Yeovil last season. I'm sure if you asked 'Arry nicely he'd come up with a few more names! We played a couple of South African U20's in a friendly last night, perhaps they'd be available if they went on to sign for us? cornishatheart
I hope this embargo is lifted soon, so we can get a few players in. If Crouch dont get a game we may be intrested. lol
redruth_07
Hmm based on his 45 mins on Sunday you might be welcome to him lol! But to be fair to him he only had Bentley delivering him the ball and he couldn't cross a road at the moment! Do you want the pair of them for 6 months?! somersetspur
What about the Irish arm waving pikey,Robbie Keane. I'll pay his bloody wages,if you take him off our hands.
ravo
Typical plymouth, all about chances, playing with 3 forwards and a centre mid scores and it a free kick and not open play, mason on the bench, so why not give the lad a chance, forget his age,

Lee_
Oh dont get me wrong I always have hope but its hard to argue against history. We could be 20 points clear at the top with Argyle in the bottom three and I still reckon we wouldnt win at Home Park, however... Whats the odds on QPR breaking that duck and Newquay finally managing to beat Hayle this weekend? That would be awesome :D
redruth_07
SS, agree about Keane. If we sign another striker before the window closes, he will be the one to make way. He has done nothing sicne his return, apart from his usual pointing and shouting obviously. COYS FOYG
