Guest Postie Pidge
Nice trip up to Marlborough Park and a result like the 9-1 win in 1994 would suit me!

Mike Odgers
Nice trip up to Marlborough Park and a result like the 9-1 win in 1994 would suit me! Seem to remember the ground was on the top of a hill. Everyone went down the town and came back shattered. I sat on the coach with the driver watching some film I think it was The Bodyguard. Didn't Ilfracombe take a 1-0 lead playing with 10 men as their keeper was late turning up but Town ran riot with goals by Dale Band,Andy Waddell,Ian Gosling,Mark Rowe -cant remember any more. Ray Nicholls was in charge. This time I will have a good look around Ilfracombe town and the harbour-looking forward to it.
Guest Postie Pidge
I knew the keeper's car broke down but they elected to start the game at 3pm. The ground is high above the town with a church behind one goal (across the road). It was the first game for Town en-route to the 1994/95 5th round when Belper came to Bickland and beat us 5-

Mike Odgers
Nice trip up to Marlborough Park and a result like the 9-1 win in 1994 would suit me! Two former Falmouth players in the Ilfracombe Town line up last night when they lost their opening Errea Cup game 1-4 to Exeter City. Namely Neil Bettis and Lee Langmead.
