Jenksy007 Posted June 15, 2009 Report Share Posted June 15, 2009 Although not yet elected in to the Duchy League, the brand power of the Charlestown Saints Football Club has crept into the "celebrity" world. Manager Ian Jenkin, has been contacted by Russell Grant, the astrologer, and local football fan with an idea to get the Saints on the radio. Russell has been to Cornwall many times with his favourite local ground being Blaize Park, with his favourite matches been seen at Foxhole. Since then, Caroline Barker from the BBC Non-League Radio Show has been in touch, and at the end of August, the Charlestown Saints will be on the radio show for 2 consecutive weeks. I would just like to thank Russell Grant, for being a good friend to the Saints and the lovely Caroline Barker for approaching us for the show. Good news travels fast.
