Grant
Newqauy reserves could be an outside bet. With a settled side they were a match for any team in the league last year and with the first team well last year, it could benfit the 2nds. If there are a couple of aditions to the 1st team squad this would move a few into the 2nds. I cannpot see many if any moving on as majority of players are local. The club is more likely to attract players this season due to last years 1st team success and the quality new playing surface. The second team have already secured the signing of the experienced Alan Yendell from Launcestonand I may even return at some point!!!. If the reserves at Newquay can get off to a good start they will be challenging at the end- just like a few years ago when they won the league cup and evely cup. Have to admit though, it is a tough league, full of strong teams- no walkovers. Pre season will be buzzing. Up the peppermints.
