A One And A Six
Their are better right backs out there for 17million... Not that many id imagine? Johnson has proved himself to be a consistently good Premiership player and is probably Capellos best bet in the right-back slot. :c:

midfield
I expect they could have Eboue for a tenner.... There has been times when I'd have given them a tenner to take him!
A One And A Six
Yeah they can have Eboue if they like seeing as Arsenal has one of the worlds best right backs in Sagna! Im surprised you perked up on this topic redruth 07, seing as a Spurs fan you would know all about losing £19 Million, it was around that fee that you played for Darren Bent wasnt it?
redruth_07
I'm afraid you are wrong once again Mr S, as the fee was a maximum of £16m if all conditions were met (unlikely). And that fee doesn't seem so high when you consider that Mr Bent was the joint top English striker in the Premier League this season along with the fact that Sunderland are keen to pay £10m for his services.... Perhaps we should discuss what will happen to your beloved Frenchmen once Adebayor and Fabregas bugger off next season? Well as long as you keep playing that 'beautiful football' with no end product and keep picking up the presitgious Emirates Cup every summer you and your fellow Frenchmen will be happy, oui? redruth_07
And Sagna - one of the worlds best right backs..... behave! World worst haircuts, perhaps! isaac rosenberg
Completely agree with everybody's comments about Johnson: crap when we got him from West Ham, crap when he got sent to Portsmouth. Wouldn't sign him back even for half a million less than we got. Stupidest decision since the Blues signed that slugbrained Welsh clodhopper from Man Utd who now manages City. How vulgar his agricultural behaviour looked alongside Vialli and Zola..... The Blue Tinners are beautiful and cultured. Johnson is a loser. Don't want him: send him back to West Ham ! next thing we'll be approaching Lucas Neill....quelle horreur ! :drink:
