I have never played ECPL and being from the West of the county I dont really know any. Only ever played ECPL teams in the Senior Cup and that was 3/4 years ago. I know there are plenty of good players in that league but unfortunatley I dont know any of them. (likewise people from the East may not know players in the JCCL or mining leagues)

I dont think you get the idea of the game scott. it was a charity game joining football in the county together for the day not to have what u think is a dream team. i think both managers could of had a hell of a team if they wanted it but it would of had the same dedication and respect shown by all on the day.

Whatever someone does for the good of football. Someone else has better ideas thats the love of the game. The squads were chosen also with a bit of respect to the forces and included current serving and ex serving members. Mostly contributors to the froum.

GREAT DAY ENJOYED IT.

Jamie like I said no disrespect to the teams, the idea or the charity and Im sure if you ask 1000 people you will get 1000 different answers. Some people will pick just mates, some just ability, some all forces related etc.... Everyone puts up posts relating to best Combo XI etc... this is no different but requires a bit more thought as its not a straight debate of this guy is better than this guy in that position. And doesnt neccessary need to be done on ability.

Thought this topic would be a change during the "cricket" months and a welcome debate to remember the charity match by breaking up the who is going where this year. A topic that could also join the county in debate.
