U14 Players & Friendlies (2009/10)

Hello Stangers!!

My Tamarside Kings U13 side were promoted this season and will play in the DJML U14 Grenville Division next season.

I am on the look out for approx three players to strengthen the squad for next season. I'm looking for a Central Defender, Central Midfielder and a Centre Forward to compliment the existing players. I know most of you guys in depest Cornwall will not give too hoots, but maybe some of the Plymouth and East Cornwall posters will be interested, or know some good lads looking for a good club.

We're having a few weeks break and training will recommence on Tuesday 30 June at Tamarside Community College - 7pm.

Secondly, I have some provisional dates booked for pre-season friendlies at Salt Mill. If anyone is interested in an U14 friendly in August, please give me a ring. The dates I have booked are:

Saturday 8 August - 11.30am

Saturday 16 August - 11.30am

Saturday 22 August - 11.30am

Saturday 29 August - 11.30am

I could possibly add to those, including mid-week if needed. We would also be happy to play away friendlies and are prepared to travel (within reason).

Standard wise, like I said, we have been promoted from the middle division this season and our aim next season is simply to avoid dropping back down. We have a decent set of lads who can all get it down and play, but we are lacking a little in the physical side of the game.
