Guest Posted May 18, 2009 Report Share Posted May 18, 2009 What a fantastic playing surface at Sticker FC for the womens cup final between Falmouth Town and Dobwalls. It looked just like a pre season pitch, all grass inside in the six yard box and an excellent surface throughout. Congratulations to all at the club. The match itself was a good win for Dobwalls whose two tall central defenders were outstanding. I'm not sure if the two cup tied Falmouth players would have made any difference to the result. Guest higgy Posted May 18, 2009 Report Share Posted May 18, 2009 toatlly agree. i was not there for this game but have witnessed the excellent surface at burngullow park on many occasions. in my opinion it is consistantly one of the best surfaces in the county. cant remember the last time a game was called off there!! full credit must go to the committee who put hours of work in to keep it in tip top condition.
