camborne park 5 culdrose 2

great team performance from camborne this was a must win game for both sides and the result puts pressure on troon and porthleven in the promotion race and puts massive pressure on culdrose who are currently in relegation zone

Div 1: Fal Ath 4 St Agnes 2

Great result for debut manager Lee Jefferies!

Especially coming from 2 nil down.

Goals from John Caradis, Steve Sheperd, Mark Jefferies.........

And super sub striker Kevin 'Ronaldo' Toy!

'Man of the Match' I reckon probably right back Nathan Macintosh.

Funniest moment had to be watching Roy Nancholas thinking of appealing for a penalty after getting shoved from behind in the box. Only to find it was Steve 'Get out of my Way' Sheperd denying Roy from what was surely a goal. Ha Ha Ha.

Great result for camborne park today, still waiting on results but it was our cup final today and we put it to culdrose showing that pace and clinical finishing will always prove decisive in fhl2, the game was only few minutes old when stuart hull caught the keeper napping to side foot in from 30 yrds, then had to soak up some pressure from culdrose before hitting them on the break with pete norfolk going through one on one hitting the keeper but stuart hull was on hand to put the rebound into an empty net. We held a 2-0 lead til half time knowig the next goal would be the big one and it came the way of camborne park curtosy of a goalmouth scramble which keir woodhead put into the roof of the net, culdrose cam forward but leaving spaces at the back which we exploited for our forth goal with some intrcate play which saw shane davis play a lovely through ball for pete norfolk to lift over the goal keeper. culdrose did hit back wit a lvely strike from the edge of the box but w always looked good on the counter and our fifth game from a quick break which saw stuart hull slide in for his hat trick but again culdrose hit back with a replica of the first goal but we saw the game out for a 5-2 result. lee byrne and shane davis have also come in in the end of season thanks to them for their hard work and efforts and the rest of the players have been outstanding all season cheers lads been a pleasure.

we are still hopeing lanner and constantine can do us a favour and it still could com down to goal difference but we still may have 2 more goals given to us from the lanner game but we are +5 its been a great season well done lads and enjoy the summer you have all been superb, and hope yo are back for next season

Cury 0 - 5 Wendron :yahoo:

Great result for Wendron. Wanted it a lot more Cury. Got what we deserved. I think the first goal after 15 seconds killed the game!

Goals :

Alan "Goal Machine" Rodgers 2

Earl " I cant cross " Searle 3

We have now been unbeaten for 6 months in the league. Everyone keeps talking about Penryn, Cury and Falmouth athletic being the teams climbing the table, this result just shows what we can do and that we have been underestimated and overlooked!

Great season and well done to the Wendron boys!! :smiley20::drink: :clapper:

Fantastic result for Mullion! :( typical of the league this season!!! was it 13 Dan? Means we,ve got to beat Lizard by 2 clear goals (or 3? waiting on Dan) next saturday in our last league game to win the league!!! After a tough final tuesday night first!!! hope we can muster up 11 fit players!!? Both teams have said all along that it will go to the last day, could be the last minute after today's result!!! well done Wendron today as well, thats some result at Cury.we could only manage a 2-2 there last week, could cost us the league yet! whatever happens next week, well done to all the lads at Mullion on a great season :clapper:

Going by the Trispen's league table and results today it looks like Falmouth Athletic Res can will still gain promotion. I've been told that 4 teams will go up from Div3 this season as Mawgan were thrown out of Div2. Falmouth Athletic Res have finished on 56points, Wendron are above us but can't go up. They beat Cury today which means Cury have 1 game left and are 4points behind us. Penryn can go 3points ahead of us if they win their games in hand (Carharrack, Cury, Rosudgen and Wendron) however, they could conceivably drop points against Cury and Wendron which would leave us above them too. The lowest we can finish is 5th but this should be enough as Wendron can't go up.

Have I worked this out right??

regarding promotion/relegation issues from the fal-helston league although nothing can be or will be decided until the night of the agm.Unless there are any teams pulling out of the three leagues and there is no changes in div 1 with a team promoted to combo or a team dropping in from there. which looks unlikely as ludgvans fate is dependant on any promotion/relegation issues from their own league then the bottom 3 will be relegated from div 1[stithians,helston,st.day] the top3 from div 2 up[tine +2 teams] the bottom 2 down[lanner +1,the 3rd relegation spot already filled by mawgans witndrawal] and 3 promoted from div 3[trispen,mullion and +1 of fal ath/penryn]as wendron who finished 3rd cannot be promoted due to already having a team in the higher league and at the bottom the last 2 frogpool/stithians seek re-election the third bottom team rosudgeon saved from reapplying due to helston 3rds withdrawal this leaves a minimum of two teams apply to the league and a maximum of 4 if the two seeking re-election are unsuccessful. SIMPLES!!!

Cheers Mate

Have now updated table.

All positions now pretty much sorted with 4 games to go.

Mousehole could take 10th off Fal Town.

St Day and Helston could change positions but sure there not bothered about that as both relegated.

HAS ANYONE BEEN AWARDED A GAME COS OTHER TEAM COULD NOT RAISE A SIDE AND IF SO WHAT RESULT WERE THEY GIVEN

Been a few of those in FHFL 1 this season. The opposition were given the three points in those cases. No goals for or against though.

FHFL Div.3

Mullion 13 - 0 Carrharick

Mullion were 2 up inside 6 minutes of this one sided end of season finale for the home side but then seemed to sit on their lorals and paided the price for some poor play when, against the run of play, the visitors pulled a goal back. To their credit Mullion awoke and re-established the two goal cushion straight from the re-start. The home side totally dominated the visitors for the remainder of the game who had an afternoon they'd probably rather forget, especially after losing their centre-back for persistant fouling and stamping on a young lad on two seperate occasions and their best player the lad up front who was forced to retire with a very sore hand. A good finish to a very good season for Mullion who have played their final game in Div.3.

Well done lads, you can all be justifiably proud of yourselves!!!! :smiley20:

Well done and good luck to all teams with fixtures to play.

absolute mare mate! i must admit in all my years of football, ive never known a season like we,ve had for injuries! out of the long terms i reckon at least 5 would start the final on tuesday,so big losses.almost half a team really!! but credit to all the lads that have filled in.tremendous job to still be in with a shout of all 3 trophies!!?! in fact i think Tony Penrose is the only player we got that has not missed a game through injury this season! ex rugby players must be abit tougher maybe!!! :(
