Portreath 1-2 St Day

Around 40 watching

Perran Cooke tapping home a Nathan taylor cross/shot around 20min then Dwayne Britton scoring a curler from a cross just before half time. St Day creating and wasting chances whilst Porthreath offered not 1 shot other then the goal. Sam Cooper chipping Alan Buckley with 10min to go after a chip over from Perran Cooke to grab all 3 points. Roll on Illogan on Sat!!

Table updated. Click on the usual links

Perranporth need to win their last 2 games to break the league's highest ever points total set by Truro last year. If they score 12 goals or more they will also break the goalscoring record set by Truro.

Their last 2 games

Home to Culdrose

Home to Ludgvan

This will be Ludgvan's last game of the season. They have let in 203 goals. Can they keep a clean sheet against Perranporth. If not will they let in more that Marazion Blues' record goals conceded of 204.

Everyone up Perranporth next Tuesday to perhaps watch a bit of history.

Congratulations to Perranporth on their double. Delighted to welcome such a fine crowd of blokes, players, club officers and supporters to Lafrowda Park. They did a fine job of keeping the shrill tendency in their place. Excellent second half in which both sides played good football in the rain. Good luck in the SWPL. :D
