  1. Matty won’t be going anywhere don’t worry 🐬⚽️
  2. Given that Newquay put in 7 days, well 28, for Matty Walker I would take a punt in the dark and say Orlando may well be on his way out the door
  3. No need to apologise, don’t think Pat Pat will be going away any time soon. Feels weird to hear my own name sometimes!! Thank you for the kind words, it’s nice to see people recognise what we are trying to build at the G. The way myself and Josh look at it is we are 4 months into a 4/5 year plan. And we have every faith in the group of lads we’ve put together. People will write us off still but we’ll always come out fighting and improving! Sure I will see you soon! ⚽️
  4. Last night we suffered 2 serious looking injuries. Josh Pope being assessed for concussion as per protocols and Timmo came off with what looked like a significant hamstring injury. Wishing them both a speedy recovery, we’ll know more about both later today. Correct we both played at Porthleven but we didn’t play together. Timmo was actually a coach of mine back in my youth football. As for the game, Falmouth were comfortable winners, deserved it completely and I don’t see anybody stopping them. But I think calling us poor against the champions elect who are unbeaten and also put 6 past Camelford and 7 past Wadebridge, 2 teams many are suggesting will challenge them is harsh. We weren’t at our best, but we weren’t a bunch of mugs either, particularly second half we grew into the game and got at Falmouth at times and on another day maybe come away with a couple goals to our names. In spells we played some really nice football and split Falmouth open, but to be where we want to be spells isn’t enough. Equally we aren’t daft and we know Ollie had a phenomenal second half and did keep the score down, but Barnsey was also forced into some fine saves. First 35 minutes I agree, we weren’t at the races.
  5. Yes Dave. Over half the first team squad have had positive PCR tests, with some others isolating. Impossible to fulfil fixtures. Ressies have had no close contact with any of the cases since the SWPL season began and will be fine to play.
  6. If you check out Godolphin social media you’ll see Luke Hunter isn’t going to Bodmin 👀
  7. Regardless of how people feel about them going in to St Pirans league, we all have differing opinions. They impressed yesterday. They played actual football, and given a couple years together they would compete in SWPL. Got to remember they're 16/17/18 years old and will likely be a top 5 team in St Pirans. Be mindful of the fact Godolphin are not the side that we’re losing heavily last season anymore. They were one of the best footballing sides we’ve come up against since taking over at the end of last season.
  8. To nullify rumours and prevent any drama. No ex Godolphin player has been approached to come back
  9. As with most local football clubs and the same as our first team, the role will be on a voluntary basis although expenses could be covered as and when needed.
  10. The exact entry point is yet to be decided. But yes, the club is in talks with the Duchy League to renter it.
  11. The club is in talks with Duchy league to join them 👍🏼⚽️
