  1. According to club website this away tie is now scheduled for Saturday 5th December.
  2. The FA cup is long gone for City this season but some of their ex team mates are giving it a good go. Former City loanees Matt Jay and Alex Hartridge scored for Exeter City in their 1st round win today against Fylde and Luke Jephcott scored the winner for Argyle in their away win at Charlton.
  3. It's away A trip to Portsmouth.
  4. Truro City progressed to the 1st round proper of the FA Trophy last night by winning away at Taunton Town by 4 goals to 2. Two goals each from Jamie Richards and Tyler Harvey sealed a good away win. Their next opponents will be Moneyfields FC from Portsmouth but when that tie will take place is unknown due to the Covid restrictions.
  5. A good away win to get City back on track after the disappointment of 2 previous defeats. Also leapfrogging Swindon in the league table.
  6. I only have scant details from Southern league but City went down 3 - 1 away in London at Hayes this afternoon. City's only score was an own goal by ex-City player Adel Gafaiti. 2 defeats in a row now. City need to get their mojo back.
  7. Sadly City's cup run has come to an end tonight as they lost 4 - 2 away at Taunton Town. 2 nil down early in the 1st half goals from Ryan Brett and Alex Battle levelled it up. Taunton though added two more goals to send City away with their cup dreams over. Best of luck to Taunton in the next round.
  8. City took the lead after just 4 minutes with a corner volleyed in from about 12 yards by skipper Jamie Richard's. The remainder of the 1st have saw lots of endeavour but no end result. The 2nd half continued in a similar fashion but as it went on Yate got stronger and it took a goal line clearance from Ed Palmer and a good save from keeper Hamon to keep City ahead. About 7minutes from full time an assist from Dan Rooney saw a fine volley from the edge of the box by Alex Battle go flying into the net to seal the important 3 points. MOM - Ed Palmer. Attendance - 429.
  9. 1st defeat of the season tonight for City away at Poole Town. Truros scorer Rocky Neal.
  10. Drawn away to Taunton Town. Tuesday 13th October.
  11. Truro City 4 Hungerford Town 0 City had a resounding win against higher league opposition today at Treyew Road. A 1st half thunderbolt from Ed Palmer put City 1 - 0 up at the break. In the second half they played some good, quick passing football and added further goals from Dan Rooney, Rocky Neal and Tyler Harvey in a dominant display. Attendance a little disappointing at 260 but those there were treated to an entertaining afternoon. Looking forward to the draw for the next round.
  12. There is currently a breakdown on the online system. I am told tickets will be available on the night at the gate but add some extra time to get in due to track and trace procedures.
  13. Good match report. Thanks for that. Is that the same Sean Johnson who used to play for Truro City?
  14. Next up... Truro v Taunton Tuesday 29th Sept. Treyew Road.
