I see today that the FA have declared this season null and void for the Southern and Northern leagues so Paul Wottons job is now to prepare a team for the 2021/22 season. -

He's done a good job with the team so far so this is excellent news. The question is, after such a long lay-off when will they start competitive matches again and will there be any changes in the team personnel. -

After a good away win at Concord Rangers City were due to play away at Oxford City in the next round Tuesday 22nd. However, an unnamed City player has tested positive for Covid 19 which means his team mates must now self isolate. It would appear that the FA have deemed that City must now forfeit the tie and Oxford are given a bye through to the next round. A sad way to end what was becoming a very promising cup run.

Hello Kit, nice to see you back on here again. I didn't see the streaming but have been told City's scorers were Alex Battle and Tyler Harvey. A great away win against higher league opposition. Next up.... Oxford City, another away match but at least Oxford is considerably closer than Concord. -

Tuesdays match postponed due to waterlogged pitch. It's now being played on Saturday 19th December. -
From the clubs website..... TCFC have announced that George Tucker is joining Falmouth Town on loan. Initially for a month. With the Southern League still temporarily suspended it is hoped this will give him some valuable game time. They state that he is still under contract at Truro and remains a long-term part of the squad.

City drawn away in the next round to Concord Rangers. Tuesday 15th December. A 600 mile round trip in mid-week!

And..... it was a fine 5 - 1 away win for Truro to put them through to the next round. Truro scorers were Rocky Neal (2), Tyler Harvey and Kieran Hayes. I haven't yet found out who also scored. Perhaps someone can help with that.

Will Swann who scored 9 goals for City last season is in today's starting line-up for Nottingham Forest. Correction..... he was on the bench but came on in 2nd half.

The FA cup is long gone for City this season but some of their ex team mates are giving it a good go. Former City loanees Matt Jay and Alex Hartridge scored for Exeter City in their 1st round win today against Fylde and Luke Jephcott scored the winner for Argyle in their away win at Charlton.

It's away A trip to Portsmouth.

Truro City progressed to the 1st round proper of the FA Trophy last night by winning away at Taunton Town by 4 goals to 2. Two goals each from Jamie Richards and Tyler Harvey sealed a good away win. Their next opponents will be Moneyfields FC from Portsmouth but when that tie will take place is unknown due to the Covid restrictions.
