  1. Just finished 3rd in Trelawney Div 3 I don't think they'll be winning major trophies anytime soon..
  2. Snowflakes definitely halted this game Tom. Embarrassing from mullion rushed over from work to catch this wish I hadn’t bothered.
  3. With Carharrack v Lanner called off I took a trip over to Cornwall College to watch Dropship take on Mount Ambrose. Was a very scrappy game with not much quality on show. A few lovely free kicks scored I must say. Both defences looked very poor in an end to end game, made for a rather exciting watch! Can't see either team being up there come the end of the season (unless Mount Ambrose can keep hold of those Illogan players they had 'helping out' yesterday)... Paul C
  4. Took another trip to Ting tang this afternoon. First 20 minutes was a tight came however for the rest of the game Carharrack dominated. Unlucky they didn’t win by more goals at the final whistle! Mount Ambrose seemed to be fairly sore losers, loud when they were winning/ drawing, however couldn’t here a word when they were losing. Went back the the trusty old social after the game and disappointing to not see one mount Ambrose player there! Pitch was looking lovely! Looking forward to the next game. Paul C
  5. Footballs back! Took a trip to Carharrack this afternoon, and what a game it was. Carharrack were all over it straight from the off. The number 9 for them was quality, could definitely play a higher standard. All credit to Stithians they didn’t give up, but we’re never a match for the quality of Carharrack. Look forward to watching more games at Ting tang this season. Division 4 is shaping up to be a good fight for the title. As I said it’s nice to see football back during these unusual times. Well played all Paul C
  6. Seems a serious lack of discipline at Hayle. Watched them a few times this season and I've seen some horrendous tackles being made from their players!
  7. Embarrassing scenes at Hayle yesterday with their player getting an early red card for a horror tackle (no place for it in football). Played well with 10 but arguably could have gone down to 8/9 with some of the challenges they continued to put in. Great game definitely got my £3 worth on a very wet afternoon. Merry Christmas from Paul C
  8. Shambles at Perranporth. Results not going their way so everyone decides to jump ship. Embarrassing club.
  9. Great value for money at Penzance this evening, goals galore! Also great to see The young lad Anton Oliver get a hatrick for Pz. Watched this boy a few times over the years at Illogan in the combo and it’s nice to see him testing himself at a higher level... and doing very well. Penzance have a good young side on their hands there, hopefully they can keep hold of them all
  10. Great result for Redruth united away at Perranwell, I assume Perranwell had 14 first team players out so they were unlucky on the day.
  11. Think you’ll find it was penryn first team Tom, although the reserves would’ve probably beat them too.
  12. I've come across a couple of the Hayle teams over the last few years and it seems the last thing they want to do is get on with officials. Love a good moan!
  13. Mr Boase will be very disappointed, spoke to him in the car park after the game and he seemed to think the shot was flying in!
  14. St Dennis second was the biggest own goal I’ve ever seen. Mr Lievers powered a header into his own net.
  15. Which centre half was this willy? Watched St Day a few times last season and their centre backs wouldn't look out of place placing in the Trelawney leagues!
  16. Anyone have any early rumours/ facts on any transfers this coming season? I’m hearing Tyler and Anton Oliver of St day and Illogan respectively could be on their way to Perranporth. Big money involved as well. Would these signings improve the current Perranporth team?
  17. Went down to watch New Inn Titans Reserves today. Not too much quality in the match but an entertaining cup final none the less, had lots of drama. Very disappointing from Mawnan. Couldn’t tell they were 3 leagues above the opposition at all. You would have thought there was a sniper in the crowd the amount the Mawnan players were going down- very embarrassing for the club. But at the end of the day it’s all about the win in a cup final and Mawnan scraped it on Pens. Hard luck New Inn deserved the win. Officials were poor.
  18. Took a trip down to Perranporth today. Wish I hadn’t. Perranporth scraped a 1-0 win against an abysmal Perranwell team. Embarrassing antics from the Perran manager on the sidelines using disgusting language and making threats, not want you want to see/hear at a game.
