  2. Enjoy the match highlights, the Gaffer's reflections, the programme, the squads and Twitter coverage from Saturday's heavy defeat to a very strong Falmouth side as we welcomed the F-Troop to Bodieve Park. http://www.wadebridgetownfc.co.uk/2021/09/07/match-report-wadebridge-town-2-v-7-falmouth-town/
  3. I just wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone at the Club and in the Cornish Football community as it was with a very heavy but proud heart that I unfortunately had to tender my resignation as 1st team manager of my beloved St Minver FC from the end of the 2017/18 season. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to progress the foundations we have in place for the club with a great set of players, great committee and great plans for the future. I will still be involved behind the scenes but we need someone to take over the reins and help this fantastic club achieve its potential.
  4. Calling all Cornish football clubs! As part of our training we would like to put some training rides together that involve visiting the grounds of Cornish football teams. Please post here if your club would be prepared to get involved for a small donation and then we can arrange our routes to take in as many of you as possible? Many thanks in advance
  5. Really really grateful to all our friends at Wadebridge Town for supporting us tomorrow night as their 2nds play St Minver FC in the semi final of the Roy Radford Division 1 cup semi final. They have kindly allowed us to serve hot drinks and cakes for donations for our fundraising for Alzheimer's Society when my sons and my cousin plus myself cycle 360+ miles from London to Paris in July 2018. Please come along and help us help others and enjoy an evening of Cornish Football.
  6. Hi all my football friends from many years of playing and managing in the county. You may or may not know, that myself, my 2 sons and my cousin are challenging ourselves to cycle 360+ miles from London to Paris in 4 days in July 2018 to raise funds for and raise awareness of dementia, which unfortunately my dear old dad suffers from. It is a crippling disease and very sad to see a loved one disappear mentally in front of you. We have committed to raise £6,000+ sponsorship for this brilliant challenge and our hoping all our friends in the Cornish Football community will be able to donate as little or as much as you can afford for this very worthy cause. Even more awareness is now being unveiled around the link between football and dementia with many of the 1966 heroes being lost to this terrible disease. You can help very simply by sponsoring us as follows: visit our team JustGiving page visit our Facebook page text the code "DWIT53" and your sponsorship amount to 70070 You can also contact me ‭for a chat and find out more on 07771 980200‬ Many many thanks in advance for all your help and support Dave Witts
  7. Cheers Dave, pleasure as always and really looking forward to seeing the podcast develop in to a fundamental slice of our Cornish Soccer cake that you beautifully bake for us each week ?
  8. 2pm as far as we were aware as a cup match and been planning for but I’ve just checked Full time and it does say 14:15 ☹️ (weather permitting that is). Everything crossed here for the sun gods being kind to us ?⚽️
  9. Unfortunately cancelled now after biblical rainfall ☔️ Have s great Christmas and New Year everyone in local football from all at St Minver ??⚽️
  10. Pitch waterlogged at Millbrook = game off v St Minver. Stay safe everyone ?
  11. Enjoy our match report from a cracking Senior Cup match as we returned after a 30 year absence - St Minver 2 v 4 Dobwalls. Good luck to Dobwalls and all the teams that made it in to the 2nd round.
  12. Match report from a tight encounter this weekend St Minver 3 v 2 St Teath. Got to say the St Teath lads were an absolute credit to their club, as we all know how difficult it has been for them this season. After spending a number of happy years there as a player myself in my 30's I really hope they manage to stabilise things. Great club, great ground, great friends and Willy Kitto :-)
