I also managed to catch the second half of the Edgcumbe st Minver game hoping to get a look at two new sides to the division. I had reliably been informed that their would be some young talent on display so was dismayed to see players had been bench to accomodate First team regulars. Fortunately justice was served as St Minver walked away with the points I just hope the young talent at Edgcumbe are not put off football when they have their chances cut short by the use of ringers

The boy up front for Torpoint ( Ben Waltzer?) I think was very lively. He scored two and cause problems all day . Think he is nailed on to be top scorer in the league if Torpoint can keep hold of him.

I wouldn't say Cally deserved to be beaten no. They matched work rate, quality and we're organised. Torpoint got goals at telling times however it could of gone either way

Not quite sure how Callington find themselves bottom of the ECPL after 8 games. By far and away best side Torpoint have faced this year.

How does he keep getting the Torpoint Players names wrong . It's easy 1 to 11 = Dan Chapman

I known Brain gives as good as he takes and he's still a top quality player for Torpoint and has been for a number of years,I heard some Plymstock staff/players giving Stace some stick while walking off after the game but Stace had the last laugh by getting both goals,legend

Sorry was only tongue in cheek after events during the day. All credit to Plymstock they managed to disrupte the usual Torpoint rhythm. Just want to mention how well I thought the ref controlled a very scrappy game. If the players concentrated on their jobs rather then contesting every decision im sure the game would of been higher quality. Torpoint did well to rise above it
