Was at wendron last night watching the semi final between Falmouth and Helston. crazy game Helston 3-0 up inside the first 15-20 minutes looked out of sight missed a couple really good opportunities to increase their lead with Falmouth having a couple off chances. Game looked over at half time. 2nd half Falmouth came out a completely different team and deserved to win 4-3 .. proper football match both good young footballing sides, good competitive game with some great tackles although 2 questionable yellows which from where I was looked to be 2 reds. But all in all great game and well worth the entrance fee proper entertainment.

Mousehole as a club have money thanks for clearing up the obvious. Both in a good position in the st Piran’s so it’ll be interesting now until the end of the season.

If they go up then good luck to them. Shouldn’t be difficult to attract more western league players with a little money

Mousehole will more than likely bring in players who can’t travel from the first team and money will be on their side. The top two battle will be interesting. Especially as st day will be missing two key players for violent conduct

Was a good game of football today from both sides, st day took their chances while Falmouth 2nds will rue missed chances in their attacking play… was close up until the sending off at 2-1 which looked harsh from where I was watching as it looked like the st day forward head butted the CB. Changed the game in st days favour, but They should win the league now, recruited well this summer with a few dropping two divisions from the western league. Mousehole will certainly push them all the way. Going to be an interesting st Pirran league this season Marks and Richard’s look handy players from Watching today. Heard they got in a tussle a few weeks back when losing to the better saints (st Dominic) will be a big loss to them definitely an opportunity for mousehole to catch them now

Couldn’t agree more I took the trip to bickland today and was impressed with callington who tried to play nice football up against a very good footballing side in Falmouth town.. 5-1 and well deserved for Falmouth who stepped up in the second half. not many mention but could be looking at a title push themselves as I overheard they were also missing 4/5 with call ups to the 1sts and injuries. Will certainly be keeping an eye on their results. Also callington as I think they will step up their league very soon looking at todays match
