  1. Bere Alston can finish third and be promoted but only to fill a vacancy if there is one
  2. You have shot yourselves in the foot nobody is going to agree to play you while peninsular football is not on you played Torpoint on saltmill dragged in first team and Ivybridge first team players what do you expect but dont want to drag that up again but when everyone says no its probably because they dont know who they will be playing against
  3. I was at the game and i knew the ref would get all the blame apart from the Josh Robins one he got all the rest right how do expect refs to be able to do there job when every tackle he is surrounded by both teams demanding cards the players should take the blame this was meant to be a game between the best two teams in the league and it turned into a farce not because of the ref but because of the players attitude
  4. As has been said no rules broken but the sad thing is if they are using it for a bit of match fitness for the first team they could affect who wins the league this year and havin to play them twice ruin are chance of promotion might not mean nothing to them but certainly does to us
  5. Heard the same if this is true will the 2nd team see out the season after being pushed aside for the fixture
  6. Good to see both clubs agreeing to get a game played by using the 3G can see it being the only game on
  7. Take a bow Sean edge finally a referee who will stand up to these overpaid players the peninsula premier is a disgrace the language the players use is beyond a joke
  8. Bere Alston 2 1 Plymstock We were good first half and deserved our two goal lead through paul simpson pen and ryan smale 2nd half didnt come out and plymstock were the better side and will feel they should of got something from the game but we held on from a lot of pressure late on plymstock are a really good side and will be right up there this year nice bunch of lads as well look forward to the return fixture
  9. I would like to add St Blazey yes they did turn up and and we have played worse teams than them in this league think to much is being made of this we had our shooting boots on and they didnt play to well and they did show a bit of class they all came back for a drink after more than can be said for some sides at least there giving a go which i give them great credit for keep going lads all the best from Bere Alston FC
  10. Bere Alston v Tavistock (2pm ko) Free entry
  11. Thanks for the report UWDI i can inform you no nothing more there we are a small village side punching well above are weight but we do pride ourselves on our pitch your report is pretty much spot on Bodmin had 5 missing i was told and no keeper we also had 5 missing (james follett james elliott jason clancy mike curtis ryan smale) very grateful for Bodmin accepting the fixture and must add very graceful in defeat a lot is said on here about Mr Gilbert but he was very good back the club full of praise for our small village side onto next week when we welcome the champions Tavistock hope you visit again UWDI
  12. Bere Alston kick off there pre season on saturday the 22nd when we host Bodmin Town {13 30ko} then the following saturday we host Tavistock {2pmko} so if you want to see the new look Bodmin and current champions Tavistock in action free of charge head to Bere Alston
  13. A lot of players around the plymouth area are choosing to play p&d football as its local no travelling so they can work a half day on saturdays which is why the p&d is quite strong some very good sides in that league which showed in the windmill reaching the devon prem cup final last season i reckon four or five of the sides in that league would compete at the top of the ecpl
  14. we did fail the ground grading but could of done the work but as it was looking highly unlikely we would finish top two we put it off to the summer we will have another go next season but like already said its very difficult to gain promotion from the ecpl because of all the reserve sides in it the problem we find is when you play a reserve team you never know who your playing as a lot of sides drag first team players in
  15. The way i see it is its harsh on the tavi lads but from the clubs point of view having played tavi this seson i cant see any of the second team bar Jamie Castle and the lad Tribble being able to step up to help the first team which is what a second team is for in fact they use one of our players at Bere if the need someone so to get a young team in where they can only inprove you can see where the club is coming from but like i said it is harsh on the lads that have gave everything for tavi
  16. Its not just the East Cornwall league that is not as good as it was that is also the case in the peninsular league how many times have we seen double figure scores this season it seems in both leagues there is a handful of good sides the rest are pretty poor
  17. Bere Alston pitch frozen both teams have agreed to play it on the 3G at Tavistock college
  18. If you do need your football fix tomorrow Bere Alston Ecpl are playing Bodmin cwspl at Tavistock college 3G ko 13 30 in a friendly
