I think Liskeard will be 2nd because they have so many good players and even with Lorenz out they can call on Ryan Richards to step in not a bad replacement ,Wendron will be 3rd because i dont think they have got so many quality players to call on as Liskeard it will be hard for Newquay to get 4th spot Wadebridge must be the favourites because they have a hell of a big squad and so many top strikers ,But Newquay will be there fighting for 4th the defence and midfield is really good but they still havnt got a 20 goal a season striker young Jack is good but does not score a lot and now they got Jay Davie but hes not going to get 20 goals Newquay should go and ask a certain Mr LLOYD of Wadebridge if he fancied playing for the peppermints instead of warming the bench at Wadebridge

Bit of a struggle for Newquay this afternoon in there 2-1 win Launceston ,i thought Launceston where very good in the 1st half and went 1 -0 up when Newquay goalie Harry Ashton had a rush of blood to the head and flattened Launcestons Hamson and Alfie Cole scored from the spot but i thought Launceston should of had a pen earlier but the ref thought otherwise .0-1 HT 2ND half Newquay came out and they ment business and domianted play the manager Craig Ainslie must of had a word with them Newquay made it 1-1 through Jared Sims and not long after scored a worldy from Brad Leivers with his back to goal he swivelled and rifled it in , Newquay also had Alex Cole sent off for a harsh decision by the ref who said Alex kicked out when he had been fouled . A hard fought win for Newquay but deserved win in the end they gave MOM to Jake Shaw but any othe the back 4 could of got it i would of given it to Nick Boase and to Launceston Alfie Cole he was good in the 1st half .Newquay players worked there sox off Jared Sims was excellent and Jack Rapsey didnt score but he does a lot off the ball and holds up play really well . The Launceston manager Neil Price is a character typical Londoner and gave poor linesman Graham Rickard some stick who took it all in good spirit last time i saw Neil Price he had a full head of hair and playing for Watford in the Semi final of the cup vs Plymouth at Villa Park and he was marking Kevin Hodges and did a good job and Watford got a lucky 1-0 win with a George Reilly Goal . The Ref had a bit of a knightmare game in my view he let lots go got decisions wrong and just did not handle the game well at all sending Newquays Alex Cole was a bad decision and not giving Launceston a pen early in the game was bad as well but everyone makes mistakes . Nice to see Mr and Mrs Rapsey up there Mark certainly treats his missus to all these luxuries but she seemed to enjoy the footy .What a lovely Couple and Mark always makes a fuss of Smokie who has lost his sight in 1 eye poor little bugger and he asks how i am which is lovely i told him i had finished my hospital treatment after 5 months 3 times a week having radiotherapy which im glad is over with but didnt like the side effects like losing nearly all my teeth so if anyone got any spare false teeth please donate them to me . On to next Saturday now when Mullion roll into turn with that nice bloke Luke Hunter in there ranks some strange results today Bude beating Wendron and Bodmin beating St Austell Newquay got to play the whole game like they did in the 2nd half they just got to get that 4th spot think Blazey will win the league they have so many quality players even in reserve Newquay will have to battle it out with Bude and Wadebridge . So Liskeard have signed Sam Borthwick and Reuben Kane permanently i bet they will both be gone when Luke Gwillian and Max Gilbert returns because they wont be able to replace the quality of those players . You got to give some praise to Bude they have done brilliant in there 1st season and the money they have spent on players has got to be just rumours Tornado doesnt get a penny for playing his manager said that on the Pod Cast Clubs should just follow Wendrons example to how a club should be ran St Austell are relying on youth now and its beginning to work and now they have signed the brilliant Matty Walker from the now disbanded Godolphin Atlantic who i miss very much but they will be back 1 day I maybe not be around to see it but i will be looking down on them kicking every ball . Looks like Launceston manager Neil Price is building a good team there getting a draw at Wadebridge i had it down for a 6-0 win to the Bridger but im crap at predictions , Will see how good Launceston are on Saturday vs Newquay at Mt Wise when Newquay will unveil they new star signing Jay Davie yes you heard it right ok most of you have never heard of him well he played for the G and hes not a bad player but they still need a proven goalscorer young Jack Rapsey is finding his feet now and is started scoring for Newquay but i would like to see Matt Lloyd in a Newquay shirt ,well they have got about 20 strikers at the bridgers ok i exagerated a bit but they seem to sign a striker every week . My point McQ Why didnt Liskeard play some of there young reserves in instead of getting in outsiders like Borthwick ,Richards and Kane i love Liskeard and the people there ,but teams seem to be getting desperate to get into the top 4 all the teams at the top are going out and signing players or borrowing players to make sure they go up only team that is not doing it is Newquay and the brilliant Wendron who just go on quietly not signing any big players just keeping with there loyal players .Why didnt Liskeard have ex G Goalie Adam Rowbatham in goal vs Newquay instead of Sam Borthwick Adam was playing for the reserves vs Newquay Academy and still had a goalie on the bench I really admire Wendron its how a club should be run i really would love to see them win the league and also win a cup as well .What a team they are and with the brilliant Ethan Fern in goal they cant go wrong really

People on here say Newquay should of won it vs Liskeard maybe they would of if Liskeard hadnt put in Players like Sam Borthwick ,Ryan Richards Reuben Kane ,thies shouldnt of been allowed they should of had to use some of there talented young reserves it seems teams are doing all they can to get into the top 4 you had Blazey signing the brilliant Andy Watkins , Wadebridge signing every Striker who is going you got Bude signing a player from a higher league who is on a hell of a lot of money and also signed Orlando who will just go anywhere for money . About Time Newquay borrowed players well they have just signed Jay Davie ex G player and hes not going to score loads of goals they want to go for someone like Matt Lloyd a proven goalscorer

Watched Newquay Academy vs Liskeard Res this afternoon not the prettiest game to watch Liskeard winning 1-0 which they deserved ,because they had the majority of the play and Newquay never really troubled ex Godolphin Goalie Adam Rowbotham . Very young Liskeard side today but got some real good players thought Darren Gilberts son Will was my MOM and for Newquay the No6 but they need a centre forward . I dont think it was fair that Liskeard 1st team could put in players like Sam Borthwick , Reuban Kane ,Ryan RICHARDS in there 2-1 victory vs Newquay when they could of played some of there young players doesnt seem fair and that defeat could cost Newquay getting into 4th place something needs to be done when teams can play players from outside players with the calibre of Ryan Richards something needs to be done to stop this happening . Heard up Newquay this afternoon that Darren Gilbert is going to be the new Liskeard manager but i dont think he will replace Martin HODGE who is a lovely man always has time for a chat a real gentleman .I expect its just a rumour Darren is going to be the manager but he wasnt up Mt Wise this afternoon Jon Colenzo running the line today and he did a good job and he didnt get soaking wet for a change like in the previous matches i have seen him unning the line

One of the players that never let the g down Matty Walker has joined St Austell i have seen Matty have so many good games and on some days he was unplayable to play against and others he was just none excistent but i wish him all the best and hopefully 1 day he will be back in a G when they rise up through the leagues and beat everyone in sight but its going to take time

I think LISKEARD will struggle to make the top 4 they have so many injuries and suspensions and yesterday they had Brodie Cole in goal , Callum OBrien at centre half young Finn Bartlett from the reserves at no9 who i rate highly and will go on to a higher level ,also on the bench for Liskeard yesterday where 2 ex G players in Coen Briggs and Connor Mc Carthy i also saw Tyler Elliot was on the bench think hes at Tavistock . like i said in a previous post this is how i think the top 4 will look at the end of the season 1 ST BLAZEY 2 WENDRON 3 WADEBRIDGE 4 NEWQUAY all 4 teams are on form at the moment and LISKEARD have to many players out . Darren Gilbert is usually at the reserve games watching his son Will play and helping Jon Colenzo out i would of watched them play at Newquay Academy yesterday if it had not been called off . You have got to give Paul Credit for the wonderful work he does at Blazey and got to be the best pitch in the County i will be there next Saturday to see them play Newquay should be a hell of a game looking forward to the battlle in midfield Cam Turner vs River Allen2 of the best passes of the ball in the league and they score pretty good goals as well . Just hope the match goes ahead and is no rained off Have a good week everybody and be nice to referees but i agree with the reports about a certain referee he does like dishing the cards and i dont think i have ever seen him have a good game but without them we wouldnt have a match to watch but some do like to use there whistle a lot but the majority of refs i have seen this year have been excellent ,but the 1 at Wadebridge vs Bude was poor he would overule the lady linesperson time afer time

Knowing this Council luxury flats and Holiday lets will be built on the land it is a prime location for the beaches and 10 mins from the town ,Hope im wrong but whereever theres green space the Council says lets sell it to developers and put some luxury flats and Holiday lets there .

Like the Phoenix the G will rise again bit like myself i have been knocked down so many times but have always risen up i decided to get a Tattoo with the Phoenix rising I wonder what will happen to the stand the G have there now and nice dug outs ,such a shame to see the demise of my team they spent a lot of money doing the paths and tarmacking the entrance such a shame after all the hard work that has been put in especially by Tania who worked so hard on the ground . Hope the Council dont decide to take over the ground and build f---g Flats there maybe some other team could use the pitch like Newquay Academy and save there pitch . Ok no more on The G but we will be back Tania ,Nigel , Ben and others will not just let the club fade away and die

Dave and Rappo should get Tania on the Podcast to hear the facts from the Godolphin Legend herself hear so many rumours ,i heard from my friend yesterday that Godolphin had folded and i said he was talking rubbish well he was right and he heard it at Mousehole from fans there . I dont think this will be the end of the G maybe they will go into the ECPL league and start again and rebuild the team and be a sucess like they where . Feel Sorry for Phil Hiscox now the fixtures will have to be altered and points system adjusted could be a few changes in league posititions i suppose Newquays 8 -2 win will not count now and Jacks 5 goals wont count ,a lot of work ahead for Phil poor bugger . Got mine and Smokies match sorted for this Saturday if its on Newquay Academy vs Liskeard Reserves should be a good game especialy if Liskeard have young Finn Bartlett in there team i reckon this lad will go far

MY TEAM GODOLPHIN ATLANTIC I WILL MISS GOING THERE SUCH A FRIENDLY PLACE IM GOING TO GO AND CUT DOWN THE TREE I STOOD UNDER EVERY WEEK AND WATCHED THE G FOR MANY YEARS IN ALL WIND AND WEATHERS . GOING TO MISS GOING THERE ON SATURDAYS

My team Godolphin has folded due to 8 players leaving the club and going to Newquay it has been downhill ever since and these players need to look at themselves and think of what they did leaving the club for money .So much greed in football another fine club like Penryn before . Godolphin has been part of my life and they where brilliant to me when i was seriously ill with Kidney and Prostate Cancer that club helped me on the road to recovery and i can never say how greatful i am to Tania and the lovely people at the club Thankyou Godolphin you where a lifesaver . Maybe the G should of bit the bullet and shared with Newquay it now shows the town wasnt big enough for 2 clubs

Im really upset to see my club fold like this lovely club run by lovely people some people should be ashamed of the way they deserted this club i heard the club had packed in from a friend who i had hospital treatment with he lives in Penzance and watches Mousehole and he heard it down there . I thought the club would see the season out but i couldnt see them existing with the atendants they where getting . This must be heartbreaking for Tanya they are her life and she has worked so hard for the club . Very upset about this decision loved going to the G and they really helped me in Dark times hope they will come back again . All about money and the greedy players that left the club in the lurch should be ashamed of themselves

See Falmouth had Dan Jennings helping them out Vs Bridgwater seems strange that Liskeard letting him play for Falmouth ,when they have a chance of promotion hope he didnt get injured
