    Had a look this morning. Very soft and wet down the middle third. The outside areas not to bad. No huge puddles forming. Will give it til tomorrow morning for the reserves.

    Forcast for wind over night and fairly dry tomorrow. Could yet get the reserves game on. Not been able to touch the pitch all week. No machinery on it to help roll out a few bobbles. Hopefully better weather around xmas and new year.

    It is waterproof if it would stop raining just after I put the lines down!!! Paint is a waste of time in the wet, and remember grass is flexible and moves and bends in the wind, the modern spray liners are good but I'm stuck in my old way and couldn't throw away my old mate the 40 year old transfer wheel marker!
