  1. Well said! Blaming a referee for your team conceding 6 goals is a bit like a car owner blaming a mechanic for having punctured tyres 🤦‍♂️

  2. Charming. I assume the referee was to blame for you conceding 6 goals at your home ground? Another case of blame the ref when your team don’t perform. @100%cornish usually gives a good account of any game he watches and thinks the referee had a good game! If such chants were directed at the referee during the game I hope he adds that to his match report and the club are made to face the consequences. Perhaps then people will start to change their ways & attitudes and the steady decline in referee numbers might slow down!

  4. Dropship FC 2 - 1 Frogpool Dropship FC welcomed Frogpool to Memorial park for what was the first ever Junior Cup game for the home side. Both teams started well and tried to play football when they could. Both teams started playing in a direct manner, with plenty of long "killer" balls being put over the defence on both sides with the hope of catching out the opposition defenders. Both teams had chances during the first half hour however it was Frogpool's Dean Goulding that struck lucky with a decent strike from 30 yards. The ball was straight at the Dropship FC goalkeeper however,

  5. Trelawney Div 4 Carharrack 5, Constantine 2nds 2 Whilst about 420 souls were suffering a dour 1 - 0 win by Truro at Treyew Road, about 35 souls were treated to a seven goal contest at Ting Tang - and all for free! 1 - 0 (16 minutes) - good layback followed by 1st time low drive to beat the 'keeper just inside the post. 2 - 0 (21) (pen) - no way a pen, a shoulder-to-shoulder challenge - but Will ? tucked it neatly home. There followed a lot of pressure by Carharrack, playing down the slope, bringing a couple of fine saves out of the Constantine 'keeper. 3 - 0 (68)

  10. Chacewater 8 - 1 RNAS Culdrose Reserves. Decent run out. Could have been 15. At least 3 headers in the 6 yard box that looked harder to miss than put in the net, but guess thats how it goes sometimes. After a couple tight games certainly felt good to show what we can do when we play with confidence and finish some chances! Fair play to Culdrose, they didn't give up and all came back for a drink after. Mark Bell 3, Justin Bennetts 2, Andrew Govan 2, James Martin 1 💚💚

  11. We have just bought a sanitizing/sterilising misting machine, after normal cleaning we can sterilise changing rooms in roughly 1 minute, ideal for a quick turn around of players. Toilets 30 seconds, corridors 2 minutes and main room 2 to 3 minutes...good kit buddy.

  16. Probus 1 (Lewis Hawkins) Stithians 0 Premier Division It was good to play my first league game since the middle of March now that cricket has finished - the longest run I’ve had of not playing football since I started playing a few years ago because of COVID-19! Nice to see a few new faces in our squad this season. The game itself was a tight affair with very few chances for either team. It was 0-0 at halftime but we felt we just shaded it without really creating too much and Stithians were always dangerous with their direct approach. The second half was much the same until we br

  17. Div 1 praze 2-1 illogan 3rds A good game with chances either end. Praze should’ve seen the game off with the more chances in the second but the score only remained 2-1 (after coming from 1-0 down) A bit disappointed with the result as it should’ve been put to bed early.. but none the less 3 points and we move onto next week at home against title favourites St just.

  18. Well here we go dont know where to start Newquay losing 6-3 vs Street after going 2-0 up .Newquay scored 1st through a good Ollie Pinnell header , then Newquay get a dubious pen Alex Cole going down in the box it was never a pen even the ref didnt give it at 1st but gave it after consulting a linesman Alex had lost control of the ball and went down in the box and took the pen himself i expect i will get comments like i was watching another game it was right in front of me . Ollie Pinnell goes off with a dislocated shoulder on comes Phil Lowry not long after coming on Lowry is sent off for a ba

Quite a few chances there for good ECPL sides to take some big SPL scalps!! Banana skin ties for Illogan, Penryn, St.Mawgan and Perranwell. Couple of nice “derbies” as well, Holmans v Redruth and Rosudgeon v Ludgvan. Good draw 👍🏆

  23. The SWPL are trying their best to see that we are able to continue to watch our teams play each week and if we stick to the rules that is a possibility. What we don't need are the people who think it is a huge joke to ignore the LAW as it now is, and ruin the chances of our weekly dose of football. Whatever your opinion of Covid 19 and its effects are, the situation is that if teams, clubs or supporters choose to ignore the law, we stand a very good chance of being closed down for an indefinite period that could well see the demise of some clubs. People who think that the covid19 pandemi

  26. To be fair Paul, I think one could make an educated guess that the weather in mid September might be better than that expected later in the year or early 2021. Might have been nice to get a few games in before the next lockdown raises its ugly head as well! Can teams prearrange games if neither is otherwise engaged?
