    Under the radar

Saltash will struggle to compete now .. losing some key players and losing Matt is massive . Dane is not on the same level , players that played today didn’t look great. Richards a huge miss on today’s evidence .millbrook very well drilled was good last year and tailed off .. few new faces some missing .only preseason but lots of positives .

  2. Ok I worked on a red covid zone but I enjoy watching my son play and supporting local football. Do we know when the FA will review the current no supporters at matches. I feel it just needs clubs to act responsibly and insist on safety regardless if this is covid. Good prevention will succeed in what ever form. I miss watching football and hope we are allowed to be adults and take responsibility ourselves.

  4. Just a point to make regarding brushing the grass. Remember that regular brushing stands the grass up allowing air to circulate and dry the sward out. This is done not only to enhance the cut but is a good way to reduce the effects of red thread. Red thread, dollar spot and all the other fungal infections rely on moisture in the sward to establish themselves and with this heat and morning dews fungal attacks will be commonplace. You can also strengthen your pattern with a good brush when there is no need for a cut...its a lot quicker as well.

  9. One solution discussed at FA level was for wearing of team strips to be temporarily suspended, and for all matches to be played as "shirts" versus "skins" (numbers to be drawn on the back of the "skins" team with marker pen).
