  1. Past hour
  2. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ That’s why I asked for your opinion! The likes of the boy Johnson from Falmouth, young marksy before his injury. And of course Tyler before he signed permanently
  3. Yes the minutes silence before the game for ardent Saltash supporter Paul, known as PASTYMAN on this forum was impeccably observed .Our thoughts and condolences to his family and friends

  5. Must say you are spot on. All he ever does from the bench is shout and heckle the ref! No need for it!
  6. No, the train times were idiotic but I was listening. No doubt you helped the team on its way with your loud vocal support! No the trains were running to a Sunday service and impossible.to get from Parkway to Bodmin.
  7. I thought Falmouth deserved it overall. I hope Saltash don't start with the excuses after a heated exchange mostly between Dane Bunney and a CCFA lady about Falmouth warming up on the pitch and Saltash on the training pitch. The second booking for Maddison I thought was harsh but after being booked for a foul in the first half the referee had no choice. Overall a fantastic result for Falmouth. Must mention the F-Troop. One could hear them enter the Priory Park car park with their singing and chanting and it certainly added to the atmosphere. One happy bunny tonight! On a sad note RIP Pastyman.
  8. One of the best bits of the after match celebrations was the F troop singing Big Al are you watching ! Big Al are you watching ! Na Na Na Na ! Na Na Na Na ! πŸ˜πŸ˜‚πŸ€£
  9. Goal in either half from Shane Krac and Adam Carter keep Parkway top going into the last week of the league season. The top three stand off continues though with Willand and Bitton both winning. Willand could go top if they beat Bridgewater in their game in hand on Wednesday evening, suspect there will be a Parkway contingent in attendance.
  10. It’s the black blazer brigades big day of the year, all free admission and free food! What was the entry charge today for all the non blazer brigade ? I am so clever!
  11. Will be raising a glass of Diet Coke tonight from Egypt!!! Well done to Westy, Milchy, Charlie and all the lads!!! 22 years of hurt over! Been involved in quite a bit of the hurt before that as well!!! Absolutely delighted for everyone at Town! Gutted to have missed it. Never mind, off for another Swedish massage! πŸ†πŸ†πŸ†πŸ†πŸ†
  12. Just back from watching a very entertaining Senior Cup final ,the 1st half was really good with Saltash going in front from top goalscorer Ryan Richards 3 mins later Falmouths brilliant captain Joe Cooper powered in a header ,Saltash began to get on top with Richards, and Hughes really causing trouble for the Falmouth defence but Joe Cooper and James Ward stood firm and kept the Score at 1-1 .The 2nd half got off to a great pace but the game was ruined by the sending off for a 2nd booking for a 2nd booking in my opinion this ruined the game ,with Saltash down to 10 men Falmouth took advantage and defender James Ward up for a corner scored what prooved to be the winning goal .This was a really good entertaining game and my mom and was also voted the same by the Blazer brigade who where out in force today Joe Cooper what a brilliant player and what a captain he had a storming game and deserved to lift the cup above his head and celebrate with his team mates and tremendous fans .I wasnt happy with the stewards stopping people going onto the pitch to get a team photo ,have to do that at St Blazey in a few weeks time .Well doen to Falmouth and hard luck on Saltash chance to get revenge in a few weeks at St Blazey but i think it will be another Falmouth victory
  13. Today

  15. Ah! George Atherton...great fella and spent many hours talking footy with the man. A bit of a legend in local football and top bloke as well. Spoke to him and your mum on the seafront on their usual seat many times...sadly missed these days. Hope you are well Dave, and the best of luck from me. AKA Dave Bakes.
  16. Well done to Falmouth from me. Well done to big Al for his assistance in the win.
  17. My father George Atherton was a good local footballer who died in Nov 2017 having played for Flushing, Mylor and Falmouth Docks. Following my mothers recent death I have come into a watch fob that has a Junior Cup winners medal from 1923-1924.( marked D C F A ) I have my fathers medals that include a Junior Cup Finalist medal from 1945/6 but didn't realise that there might be someone in an earlier generation that also had a Junior Cup history. Does anybody on this forum have any record of the teams in that final or, unlikely I know, any players names. Hope you can help. Dave
  18. Willy, as a St Day man, what are your thoughts on your club using paid ringers throughout the season?
  19. Had to turn off radio the commentary was an absolute shambles the bloke read out the teams using just surnames only for some players and full names for others Some of the quotes were hilarious
