St Darren that's 18 years, only 7 to go until you equal how long we went without the title....cant wait!

Are you keeping the Premiership trophy and the FA cup at yours as well cos we won them in 99 too!! A proper treble not the Mickey Mouse treble you lot claim :yahoo:

Back on topic now though. Liverpool supporters can rejoice at the fact that there is increasing speculation that one of your old flops could well be on their way to White Hart Lane in January??. That flop is none other that Fernando Morientes :( .. Do we Spurs supporters not suffer enough alraedy?.

Guest mariner

What about your trophy you won just a few months ago???????

I didn't want to include that one mariner mate because I thought that it didn't mean f**k all UNLESS one of the supposed "big boys" won it

It only means F.all to the above if: 'we' get knocked out or lose in the 'final'

Loving this thread, full of passion......

sorry m8 he was on the pitch when gerrard scored against boro,he just needs time to settle at a big world famous club with all that history on his shoulders and the most famous number seven shirt in world. :drink:

I thought Keane signed for Liverpool not Man U...? Cantona, Beckham, Ronaldo.... now thats a No 7 shirt..... :clapper:

I went to Anfield once, very impressive, took a Pi** on it on my way across the park to watch Everton v Chelsea last season...... :D

Got a great video if anyone wants to borrow it... 88 FA Cup Final, it's a classic, always felt sorry for Wimbledon, beat the 'Culture Club' and then couldn't represent us in Europe cos English clubs were still banned after the Scousers caused a little bother whilst on a previous jaunt..... :(

Who's up for a little bet that Utd got the better Spur and Berbie will score more than Keane this season......?

Shane mate, think you'll find that I have not said anything about Liverpool having the highest burglary rate in England and Wales, so as informative as your statistics are, they are ultimately pointless. But thanks anyway.

As for Tottenham, well with being raised there from the age of 2 until the age of 10, I am somewhat farmiliar with the area but must admit that I have not been back there since around 2004. I can't imagine that it could have got any worse though.

To answer your question about why we don't get a mini-bus and go to watch our own teams. Well you're clearly aware of what Tottenham is like, so would understand that there would be nowhere to park the bloody thing

to add to that gillo with some of my finest

Rafael Benitez: "Our new Winger cost five million. I call him our wonder player"

Sir Alex Ferguson: "Why's that?"

Rafael Benitez: "Everytime he plays I wonder why I bothered to buy him!"

Q: How many Liverpool fans does it take to change a light bulb?

A: Yeah, as if they have electricity in Liverpool...

Q: What do Pool Fans and sperm have in common?

A: One in 2,000,000 has a chance of becoming a human being.

Newsflash: Thieves broke into the home of a Liverpool fan and stole two books. "The thing that upsets me", he said "is that I hadn't finished colouring them in yet!"

Q: What is the difference between a battery and a Scowser fan?

A: A battery has a positive side.

Surely some of you the way you go on, could start up your own thread encouraging trips to watch Utd play???

After all, its easier to get tickets for Utd than it is for Liverpool games!! Forgive me if I'm wrong, but I understand you can still buy a season ticket for Utd!! At Liverpool the wait is 15 years!!

But then, I assume that there's a fair few of you that would get lost as soon you hit the dizzy northern heights of the M6!!

The offer is still there though, if you want your pic taken with the Euro cup you won in 99, its still in the LFC Museum!! oh, and it will remain there as well, so no rush!!

Would love to go but would rather play and when not playing rather spend that time with my family.

Wouldnt know about season ticket but Im sure there would be some still available as our ground is nearly TWICE the size, thats nearly 2 of your ickle grounds in Old Trafford, so therefore lots more seats.

Is there a special machine you have to keep going back to the past, go on come and live in the present day and tell everone what you have won lately lol. Guess your one of those scum fans who actually believe you were the best side in Europe when you won it few years back as well :o

Darren me old china, the 15 year wait is not due to availability.. thats how long it takes to save up the Dole Cheques to purchase the ticket.....

and no panic you can keep that one, within 5 seasons I expect we'll have our own to keep, only problem then is we'll need an extension cos there's no where to keep it.. the flippin trophy room is overflowing with these blinkin Premier League Trophy's......

Just in case some of the terms I'm using are unfamiliar to you, this is what a 'Premier League Trophy' looks like

and this

and here's when we were so bored winning them that we leant it to Chelsea

seriously though guys with regard to getting up to see games as part of a supporters club, hope you guys get it sorted, brilliant getting away with a group of mates or just a coach full of fellow fans and enjoying the atmosphere of the travel and the games whoever you support, totally different to watching it on the tele, hope you have some great days out.

personally I grab a game where I can through mates, relatives or hospitality, pencilled in for Arsenal v Hull and Everton v Man United (sitting in the home end with my cousin and his mates so that should be a laugh)

who ever you support enjoy it guys......

You're still behind though Jez!!! 18-17 - 5-3

you lot forget about life before the Premier League

gillo, in 2005 we had a rubbish side, but it came through together and won the European Cup for the 5th time!

You may have a ground thats nearly twice the size of Anfield, but I thought you were meant to be the most well supported club in the world??? and yet you can't sell all your season tickets!! yes, you sell out every week, like Liverpool, because us OOT's go to the games, but for Utd to not sell all the season tickets is a strange one!!

Mainly, due to the fact that thousands of them have gone to follow FC United instead because of the American takeover and the way that Utd sold themselves out!! Liverpool's situation is similar, but unfortunatly we ended up selling ourselves to a pair of yank twats who don't have a clue. Utd offered themselves to the world!

You could still make your own supporters club and go to the odd game, I play every Saturday yet still try and get to at least 5 home games a year and some European Away ones along with FA Cup and Carling Cup away games!

Point taken Daz, can't dispute the figures...... growing up in the 70's and 80's I remember life before the Premiership all too well.... Liverpool dominating Domestic and European Football and 'Bangles' Ron Atkinson more interested in buying nice Jewellery than good players.... :D

We're both stuffed by yanks, thanks to the 'Chukle Brothers' we've gone from one of the richest clubs in europe to having a debt bigger than some African Country's! I'm still not sure how you can borrow money against an asset you don't yet own in order to buy it...........

Wonder if in 10 years time we'll be here typing about Man City's domination of the Premiership and beyond?

Enjoy your football bud....

My next door neighbour is a big Liverpool fan. Unfortunately the cost now is prohibitive. He told me it would now cost him a weeks wages just to get there and back, pay to get in and then watch their idiot manager (his words) destroy a club not bought and paid for (just borrowed money). He sees what Man U have done over the past few years and wonders why Liverpool have not done it.

The other thing is that this credit crunch has not affected the season ticket holders this season, but just wait until the Liverpools of the world will suffer next season when it hits everyones pockets

And he's a Liverpool supporter??? The manager has been fine, its the 2 bloody yank owners at the moment!! I think the season ticket holders in Liverpool are affected by it a fair bit to be honest with you, with the majority of them being scousers they probably have to scrimp and save every penny they have to get one, when they're used to having cheaper tickets because of the area that they are in. Liverpool are still below average in charging for tickets I beleive, £36 I think it is for tomorrows game on the KOP. Its over £40 down in London for a game.

Utd stayed with their manager in 1990 and it has paid off no end, plus Utd have been allowed to develop Old Trafford and make it the 70,000 seater ground it is now, Anfield can not be increased, therefore we're losing out on revenue to Utd each week!!

For a day trip to Liverpool including a match ticket would cost me about £120. Plus anything if I wanted to spend on top!! share that between 4 of you, in the same car, and the price gets reduced by a fair bit!!

If you want to go to the games, you'll find a way!

I agree Darren the manager has been fine the way he has spent millions upon millions then a few million more and you lot are STILL just a cup side, awesome! Keep up the good work Rafa!!

Oh and I believe Old Trafford is nearer 77,000 capacity.

Good points well made on the rest though and its genuinely a great idea you guys have going on and I take my hat off to you for travelling all that way to watch the game, well done bud!!!

After watching the Scoucers beat the Mancs today.

As a Spurs fan.I have come to one conclusion.

How did we get 50 million for Keane + Berbatov.

Keane is proving to be,what Spurs supporters already know.

He is not a prolific goalscorer, and looks busy, doing nothing.

6 games.0 goals.While Defoe is on fire.

As for Berbatov, one misplaced pass for the goal, and that was that.

Arrogant, lazy, moody +sulky.Fergie will earn his wages sorting him out.

Well done Mr Levy.Great buisness. You should be knighted.

Is anyone interested in buying a ticket for L'pool V Wigan next Saturday 18th October? I bought two tickets for me and a mate, but unfortunately he can't make it now!

I am flying up on Monday, so whoever wants it will have to make their own way there.

Just an off chance that someone knows of somebody who might be interested.

You can email me.
