Referee(s) Required for Charity 5-Aside Tournament

Recommended Posts

Penryn Athletic FC are hosting a charity five-aside tournament on Saturday 14th June 2008 in aid of Nalders Foundation, which is this year supporting the Children's Hospice South West Precious Lives Appeal.

Nalders Foundation

“One of Cornwall's largest and oldest law firms has set its sights on a £10,000 charity boost to celebrate its 225th anniversary this year.

Nalders Solicitors, based in Truro and with offices at St Austell, Penzance, Falmouth, Camborne, Helston and Newquay, is to mark the milestone with a new scheme to support Children's Hospice South West.

For the new Nalders Foundation, every member of the firm's 14-strong partnership team is committed to raising at least £350 towards the cost of a new Cornish hospice, serving Cornwall and Plymouth - for which a £5 million appeal was launched last year.

Each partner and associate partner will devise a sponsored activity and the other 135 Nalders staff are also being encouraged to "do their thing" for the hospice. The firm itself will donate £5,000.”

Children's Hospice South West's Precious Lives Appeal

Children's Hospice South West has been providing care and respite to families from across the South West of England for nearly 13 years firstly at Little Bridge House, North Devon, and more recently at Charlton Farm, North Somerset. Plans are now in place to extend this world class service into Cornwall.

A hospice in Cornwall will offer more choice to families across the South West on which hospice they choose to use. It will also provide a place closer to home for many families from Cornwall and Plymouth, who may find the journey to Little Bridge House and Charlton Farm too far, or would just be happier using a hospice closer to home and friends and family.

Children's Hospice South West's Precious Lives Appeal has been set up to fund the build of this much needed third hospice for the South West of England.
