r_and_l
What is truros pitch like now has it recovered from last season cause if not surely they cant have a decent surface to play on if they allow rugby to be played on it aswell and if they did wouldnt that disrupt their own matches if they go up a league again as expected???? Mike Odgers
It appears the Pirates are coming under the wing of Kevin Heaney now that their benefactor has left. I cant see that Treyew Road is any improvement on the Recreation ground at Camborne. Will that mean the Rugby fraternity will now follow the Cornish Tigers RFC in future?? Guest
No wonder the CORNISH PIRATES called themselves that I think anyone wanting to watch a decent rugby match will have no idea where to go to watch them since they moved from Penzance to other grounds. The WMN also carried the story which also included the resignation of the Head Coach. I think this will eventually uravel but they had better get themsleves sorted quickly because I am not sure if Treyew Road is big enough for the end zones and the sidelines. Guest Urban Spaceman
if dave leonard is truros director of football as i heard was one of the conditions of him staying cud this mean chris webb will be the pirates coach haha
cornishteddyboy
Personally I don't think they will move from Camborne until they manage to have a new stadium built. Treyew Road can't hold 6500 for a Pirates - Cornish All Blacks match or the same number if the Pirates are playing Plymouth Albion, etc. There would be too much loss of income for the Pirates.
