Dave Deacon
I can never quite understand the mad rush to know this!
Adlestrop
Both Combo and ECPL (Premier division) can't produce a full list until the FA Cup and Vase draws are published.having so many reserve sides. It is my understanding that the ECPL Division fixtures will be out to-morrow.As you say,Dave, why the mad panic when last season only finished 3/4 weeks ago. OldFan
1. What football fan doesn’t want to know the fixtures for the team they support - to see when the derbys etc are. They’re excited. 2. The earlier you know your fixtures, then as a fan or player, you can organise your life a lot better. If you’re committed you don’t want to miss games, so when you’re booking that weekend away with your partner or friends outside of football are trying to organise a birthday weekend away you can let them know how suitable it is. These are just a couple of examples and of course I know you can never tell when games will be postponed but it’s better to try and plan them then not at all. 3. Managers, players etc can see if they have any midweekers or Saturdays that are quite a distance to travel so players may have to adjust a shift at work etc. Earlier you do this, the more likely your boss will allow it. 4. Where ever you go back to, be it a pub or your own clubhouse, quite often they like to know your fixture schedule because they may need to be aware when booking functions that might require private use of the bar or anything else. Anyone else feel free to add any other reasons why a range of people associated with football want to know fixtures as soon as possible.

There are people who work away sometimes, who work rotas, who may need to plan ahead, some may be in the armed forces, who generally want to know to make sure that the opening weeks where there will be midweek games they can finish early etc. Especially with pre season, don't want to double book games etc. Makes sense to know as early as possible! Dave Deacon
The best solution would be to keep every Saturday between August and May free??
Cornishfootball
Obviously! Afraid the real world doesn't work like this in non office based jobs ?
