After a tight first period with few chances at either end, Martin Gilbert headed what proved the winner within moments of the restart, following unselfish work from Reed-Bennett and Bradley Allen. St Mawgan continued to play the tidy football they're renowned for, but the superb Foxes held out bravely, while playing some outstanding stuff themselves and could easily have extended their lead on the break on a number of occasions. Well done to St Mawgan for their part in a brilliant final, to the excellent match officials and to the Duchy League officials, league sponsors and St Dennis AFC for their efficiency in laying on a tremendous afternoon's entertainment.
