Soccer Follower Posted May 19, 2018 Report Share Posted May 19, 2018 Div 2 Frogpool & Cusgarne 3 Illogan 5 Div 3 Frogpool & Cusgarne 1 New Inn Titans 1 On a hot afternoon and following a match which was a credit to the League,Frogpool win the league,medals and Cup were presented by Trelawny League Treasurer Chris Coombes and Fixture Secretary David James.New Inn Titans were presented with medals and the Shield as runners-up. Shifty Posted May 19, 2018 Report Share Posted May 19, 2018 Division 3 Newlyn NA res 2-5 Falmouth DC On a warm day in Penzance we finally came across a rock hard pitch for the first time this season and at times showed we weren't used to it. As the game settled down though Falmouth slowly got on top and took a 3-0 lead only to concede right on half time. The second half started with Newlyn on top but Falmouth looked to have sealed it with a 4th. However Newlyn hit back again to keep the game in the balance. Falmouth finally claimed the 3 points with a 5th near the end. 1 game to go on Thursday. Also congratulations to Frogpool Reserves on winning division 3 today.
