Darin Morse
Foxhole 5 Veryan 3 Saturday 19th May 2018 Duchy Premier Division A fantastic effort again from the super Foxes who were two up at the break thanks to a double from Gilbert, the first a brilliant lob from 30 yards, the second a thunderbolt that went through the keeper. Veryan hit back within seconds of the restart, but Reed-Bennett quickly seemed to secure the points with a close-range header from Austin's flighted free-kick, and a fine finish inside the near post from Barnacle's astute pass. However the visitors made it exciting with two strikes with still half an hour remaining, before Foxhole, with Allen and debutant Oulton outstanding, somehow managed to squander three very presentable opportunities, including a missed penalty from the otherwise excellent Wilkins. Without a recognised goalkeeper, and with veterans Dyer and Bunt rolling back the years, the Foxes' spirit and composure on the ball saw them home, Reed-Bennett's terrific volley at the death to complete his hat-trick a fitting end to a thrilling game. Well played lads for again bringing smiles to the faces of this supporter and many others, after a difficult week for the club. Well done also to Veryan and the referee. Foxhole (4-5-1): Steve Kellow; Ryan Wilkins, Matt Lean (sub. Simon Bunt), Jack Oulton, Ryan Wilkins; Nathan Allen, Steve Kirby (sub. Gary Dyer), Rory Barnacle, Lee Reed-Bennett, Danny Austin; Martin Gilbert.

Luke Gibbons
What a result for Foxhole, their club are a credit to the league. To travel to Torpoint with 10 midweek then to severely dent Veryan's title hopes is some achievement. & in the middle of all of this to reach the KMD Cup Final is unbelievable. A strange week no doubt but a massive one for the club.
Cornishfootball
Torpoint now guaranteed 2nd at least but has been a close season and will go right to the wire. St Stephen need a point
Luke Gibbons
Been a massive turnaround for Torpoint. A poor start to the season has cost us badly by the looks of things. I rejoined the squad late November as part of a large personnel change. 2nd with a Junior Cup Final and potentially another Final will be a good end to the season!
