Tempo Posted May 1, 2018 Report Share Posted May 1, 2018 Division 3 Ludgvan Reserves 0-2 Frogpool Reserves A solid performance from the Frogs against a good Ludgvan side who bopped the ball about nicely, particularly in the first half. Few chances created for either side in the first half saw both teams go into the break without a goal. The opening goal came from a delightful Sam Bromley run, gliding past three players before cooly slotting home with his left foot to open the scoring. We started to play a lot better from then on, but our second came after a Ludgvan free kick was quickly won back, and David Leach was played through to powerfully run through and finish with his strong left foot for his fourth goal in two games. Thanks to Ludgvan for the hospitality, it was great for us to have Ashley Johnson back in the side as well who had a fantastic game at right back but the man of the match for me was the tireless Harry Payne. Two teams left in the hunt, Penzance and Perranwell. Means tomorrow's game between them is a real 6 pointer! Penlee Park. 7pm kick-off. T-hut open and bar afterwards.
