Trelawny League Results Tues 24/4/18

Well done to our fourths who drew 4-4 v Penzance in Div 4 at Penlee tonight. 

Penzance were 4-1 up at half time before we pulled it back and levelled with near on the last kick of the game. 

Squad included several 16year olds, some of who made their debut tonight and one of those debutants scored. 

Thanks to Penzance - all the best for the rest of the season.

Frogpool ? 2-2 Gwin

With players out tonight as always on midweek games we got a decent result away from home. 
Even start from the beginning. We went 1-0 down from a corner. Then we went 2-0 down from some sloppy defending. 
2-0 HT
We scored pretty fast from the restart througha well worked goal from Reave Kendall to get us back in it. We then dominated for a while and our skipper, Gavin Russell scored again, the boys on fire ? to make it 2-2. 
We then went onto dominate and try and chase the winner with no avail. Which we nearly rued massively with Frogpool dominating the last 5 minutes and we hung on for the point. 
We’ve put pressure on the teams around us now which is ideal. One game to go next Monday against St Day. Hopefully get another win. Then we move onto next season and start our planning to move on and get us back where we belong in the higher leagues. 
MOM our keeper Jamie Jose who made a string of decent saves at the death. Hopefully this will breed confidence in himself to show how good he is!
