More possession from the Torpoint lads in the first half but Biscovey taking a 2-0 lead with some well taken goals from Liam Turner who is normally between the sticks for us! Torpoint managed to level up before the break, so fair play on their endeavour. I thought we were reasonably comfortable at 2-0 but Torpoint don’t lie down. Second half was a very even affair and probably the best chances to nick it fell to Biscovey, but it wasn’t to be. Great last ditch tackle from the away skipper when it looked like a certain goal. Probably a fair result in the end. Shame about the ridiculous sending off for our holding midfielder near the end, but no question he had to go for an elbow into the chest of the Torpoint defender. See you guys again in a few weeks for the return fixture at Torpoint.
Green Matador
Lanreath Reserves 1 - 2 High Street, good game played by both sides in good spirits. Ref was a bit out of order late on when asked how much time left he he replied "Enough". Very windy conditions again at Lanreath but a good, tight game.
