Massive Congratulations to Mousehole.

What a fantastic effort from the Div 1 West side. A brilliant match which had a bit of everything. In my opinion the better side won on the night with the superior levels of fitness getting them over the line.

St Austell played their part and almost took it too penalties with a gulit edge chance on 120 mins which resulted in fast thinking from Mousehole keeper to play a quick long ball to the striker who ran in on goal to make it 3-1 with the last kick of the game.

Overall a fantastic advert for cornish football. Well worth the £4 entry fee.

Good of luck to Mousehole in the final.

Who was the last Non SW Peninsula Premier/South Western League team to reach the final of Senior Cup? & when/has there been a winner from lower league?

Not that long ago actually! Season 2012–13 when Helston were in the SWPL D1W and took Bodmin Town to a replay which finished 4–3 after extra time. Great game at Treyew Road . First game at Saltash was goalless. Your Jordan Adlard played in that one.

Before that, the 1996–97 final which also went to a reply with Falmouth Town beating Nanpean Rovers from ECPL 2–1. The first game finished 1-1 and I won't mention the Jerry Solomon moment!

St Austell (D1W) won in 2009 against Saltash United at St Blazey 3-2.

Indeed - soaking wet afternoon at Blaise Park!

Well done Mousehole, farthest West club making all the noise, congratulations to you. Some added spice afterwards on twitter between Steve 'slick' Massey & St.Austell boss Chris 'gentle' Knight not agreeing with remarks made about his St.Austell's side's performance in last nights fixture. Worth a look

They were SWPL D1 West! Not the last I grant you but between Helston and Nanpean.

Last night was a feisty encounter which ended ten aside. Conditions played a part in making it a good game. The lack of hardstanding didn't meet well with some supporters though.

Although I thought it pretty much calmed down after the second dismissal

It did but up until then it was. Steve Nute took a real earbashing from the Mousehole following after an alleged stamp went unpunished and even after the numbers were levelled, a St Austell defender made his feelings known twice after a Mousehole attacker twice went down in the box. But congratulations to The Seagulls!

With Bodmin Town and now St.Austell missing out on Easter Monday this will be the first time in 10 seasons that neither will be involved.

Season 2007/2008 Truro City defeated Saltash United by 2 goals to 1 at Bodieve Park, Wadebridge Town FC.

Has anyone seen Argyle’s tweet following their victory over Callington. It just demonstrates the arrogant attitude the club has towards other swpl clubs. Callington are doing the decent thing and fulfilling their fixtures and deserve more respect. These are good honest players who worked all day
