Dave Marks
Holmans 5 -3 st just Good result today youngsters played superb and weren’t going to be bullied also Dave Dodson outstanding refereeing only one boss out there in the middle and his surname never ended in Curnow. Great goal for st just youngster as well but after conceding an early poor goal we hit 4 to bounce back to lead 4-1 ht After the break we started to get a little complacent around the pitch and allowed st just back to 4-3 with 20 to go it could of been a difficult afternoon however the lads had more in the tank & with 8 mins to go put us back at 5-3 to see the game out. Off the bottom for the first time this season let’s hope the lads can now catch Redruth Utd with 3 pts adrift & 5 games in hand many more points are needed. Alf
Rob Wearne now playing regular for Falmouth Res, his career going down hill
winston
I know wearne was cup tied for the senior Cup, earlier in the season. Now waiting for the new excuse for playing him. It would be unlike Falmouth to load up for the bigger games ?
Martin Eddy
Lost 5 to pendeen today fair play they deserved it but at 4-0 down at half time we thought we did not deserve it but fair play to pendeen they took their chances and are very quick on the break. Second half they played better but did not get the luck.right result in the end because we did not really make their keeper work once but still played some good football, but then that's what happens when your down the bottom. 2 players made their debut today and looked good

stevieb
James Stevens is ,awaiting an operation for a broken tib and fib , he was supposed to been celebrating his engagement last night with a party which obviously had to be cancelled , even though when he stretched off he told his girlfriend to start without him and he would be there later . Would still like to say thanks to the Illogan player for all his help with the nasty injury think he goes by the nickname wolfie ? . James has not long moved in to a new house and also will be off work for a while . Now everyone on the forum knows how I back refs but what left a sour taste in my mouth was before the ambulance had even left the ground he was asking about his fee !!! I know he was in a rush as he said he had to fly after the game because he was going up country , but our chairman was talking to the ambulance staff , who were fantastic how we are lucky to have them . To the pitch it was in very good condition and much better than the week before . Several players were upset about the challenge but that is for others to debate as I was not close enough to say . Good luck to James in his recovery and thanks to the Illogan players and lino who showed concern . Steve Bailey Hayle lino .
wedding280991
I was refereeing on the 3G pitch at Hayle yesterday and when I came off at half time and went into the referees room the young ref was pretty distraught about what had happened Obviously I didn’t see or hear what was going on on the other pitch but believe me the young lad was upset by what had happened
justsomerandom
I am still laughing at wolfie! ? that nickname has got to stick!! All joking aside i guess Paul Wolstencroft knows what it is like to have a bad injury so would have been the right man to offer support. Well done wolsty
Dave Deacon
I think we should leave this one now to the facebook thread! We've all made tackles in our playing days that have left opponents injured. Best wishes to the player Jamie Stevens and here's to a speedy recovery. kevin richards
Pseudonyms upset me ‘ Guess who ‘. Far too many jelly fish on this site. Only say things because nobody knows who they are. If you or anyone else has a comment or something to say, be man enough to put your real name. Just hope the young lad is OK and that there might be some support in place for him and his family as we all have bills to pay. If your off work it's going to make things hard. Hardly a big thing to set up an account, it not that hard as even I managed it! Could have always got someone else to post on his behave.
winston
I don't think this player will be the last to feel the boot of Simon Ellis, unfortunately. One shock was Luke Wort being sent off against Helston. That's unlike him
