We are very light of numbers arranging an early kick off again and injuries (8 out) but good chance for the young lads to have a run out. Rather that than postpone. 1ofthekids Posted January 20, 2018 Report Share Posted January 20, 2018 St Just Seconds 2-2 Ruan Minor (HT 1-0) The saints once again throw away 2 points in the last few minutes of a game. St Just 2-1 up courtesy of goals from Tony Angwin and Joe McMullen, however despite battling well for 85 minutes Ruan Minor equalised with a free volley from a corner. Very frustrating for St Just, who once again should've put the game to bed at 2-1 with a few big chances. However a very strong Ruan Minor, who were second best in the first 45, battled well second half and deserved their equaliser at the end. Sh91 Posted January 20, 2018 Report Share Posted January 20, 2018 Mullion reserves 2 - 2 Probus A game of 2 halves, or who ever had the wind behind them mainly. Probus started poorly, and with the wind behind them mullion were 2 up. After about 20mins or so Probus came into the game and even against the wind should have had a goal or 2 in the first half, mullion also missing the chance to go 3 up from the spot. Second half, wind died down a little, and it was Probus with a slight formation change and the wind that were the ones pushing, pulling it back to 2-2 with Connar and Sean grabbing the goals, Mullion had the odd breakaway, but never worried the GK, and Probus will be wondering how they didn't manage more than 2 goals, with numerous chances that on another day would have gone in. 2-2 It finished in very difficult conditions with the wind and the pitch starting to struggle, not an unfair result for either team, although I think Probus will feel a little harder done by that they couldn't grab that illusive winner.
