Bye bye

Culdrose v Penryn

Time for the Combo to try to  get funding to buy some land and build a  4g pitch, with lights, clubhouse, changing rooms, parking, etc.

Then every night during December to the end of February they can stage "catch-up" league matches, games that have been called of due to the Senior/Junior Cup, weather, etc.

Somewhere for us to go every night to get our footy fix.

I wonder if Hayle FC are willing to hire out their pitch for matches for Saturday mornings? Anyone from the club know?

Cheers Mullion v Helston.

refixtured for later in the season

5 minutes later we lose another two games

Pendeen and St Ives are both gone.

I have heard that St Just have been down to the local branch of Cornwall Farmers and bought 25 pairs of Wellington boots to get their game played, 22 players, the ref and the linos will have dry feet at least.

A very valid point made about Hayle and their facilities. Surely clubs could use that if the backlog of fixtures for them at the end of the season got too much?!

Are the lights on the Hayle 3G working now as I did hear a couple of weeks not so?

That might well be a problem in the meantime. But the above proposal is something that Hayle and other teams should consider.

Well we don't know if it is still a problem until someone from Hayle replies! :ninja:
