Foxhole 1-3 Torpoint Athletic

Played on a very heavy pitch. Some stern defending and aerial dominance from goal in the 1st half kept Foxhole out and a top corner bound tip over from an over head kick kept Torpoint from conceding. Foxhole had a header bounce agonisingly wide and also had a shot saved later in the half. The half time score was 2-0 and saw 2 goals from Byron Robbins. The first was a turn and finish high in to the goal from the Edge of the area and the 2nd was a clearance from Torpoint which fell to him and rounded the keeper.

2nd half saw the visitors dominate the first 25 but a sin bin saw them go down to 10.

A 3rd goal from Adam Brayson who ran 60 yards or more with the ball before slotting home made it 3-0.

Foxhole made changes and went at Torpoint . After a reaction save from 8 yards the home side finally got a breakthrough with a slightly scuffed shot that went in off a post to make it 3-1 and although Foxhole pressed there were no more goals.

The visitors held on and go 7 games unbeaten in all competitions.

GSM 2-3 Lostwithiel (aet again)

A very tight game where was this league game in reality a draw would have been pretty fair.

1-1 at half time, a corner straight in from Lostwithiel before GSM equalised from the penalty spot before HT.

GSM then took the lead before a penalty was awarded, as a result GSM lost a CB, resulting penalty was saved. Before a goal coming from a corner shortly after.

Into extra time and Lostwithiel grabbed the winner in the first Half, despite being down to 10 GSM pressed hard but missed too many good chances.

Lostwithiel were a good bunch of lads and on the whole it was a good tempered competitive game between the 2 teams.

Unfortunately the referee, one we've had the 'joy' of having far too often, once again had an abysmal game. Bordering on a disgrace and an embaressment to the league and Cornwall FA, and it needs addressing.

Lanivet Inn were winning comfortably at Saltash.

Bizarre moment when the ref gave a decision and a spectator on the bank shouted f*****g hell ref and with that the ref walked back and in a shouty tone gave the keeper a warning. When he protested his innocence and pointed to the culprit the referee said he was lying and recognised the tone of his voice. Fortunately that was as far as it went. T'was a better game than the one I paid to watch!

Can only be addressed if clubs are sending in adverse reports and marking below 60.

Foxhole's pitch is an absolute mess after this game, will struggle to get it playable for next Saturday
