West Cornwall 6-1 Mullion

Much better this week. Took 10 minutes to get going but once we did looked like we could score at will. Slight change in formation allowed more freedom for our midfielder players, which caused havoc. Puggy and our MOM Jowan Kitchener, on his return to full fitness, caused them a massive headache for the first 45. Went into HT 3-0 up, Kitchener with the first on the stretch from a deep cross, Gareth Pitt firing past the keeper from 18 yards, and Kitchener again after fine work from the left flank, cut inside and found the far post.

2nd half started as we finished the first, great vision from Puggy found Jordan Knuckey who fired past the keeper from close range. We then made a few changes to give people valuable minutes, which didn't really help for 20 minutes as the game became sloppy. Mullion pulled one back from a ball in behind that their striker was first to. We kept knocking, and spurned a few chances, until Puggy cut inside from the right and drilled a screamer in off the bar, before Ed Huckfield, on his last appearance before he sets off for uni, scored a sublime volley with the last kick of the game.

Far better this week from us, hopefully the performances will turn into points and we kick on from here.

All the best to a very young Mullion side for the rest of the season.

Carharrack 3 Falmouth 4

The home team took the lead after 45sec with their first attack , with a far post header . Later in the half they went 2 0 up with another cross and tap in at the far post . Falmouth keep playing and didn't panic and came up with a goal from Brodie Kemp and just before half time a great tackle from Ryan Chinn and a cross field ball from his bros LIam found Frazor Harris who finished well at the near post . Playing up the hill Carharrack put Falmouth under pressure but a counter attack gave Kyle Cooke a chance to break into the box and being pulled back gave him the opportunity to score the penalty. Falmouth then pushed on and a great pass from Cooke found Pellew and he rounded the keeper for a good finish . Carharrick then threw on a number of subs and put Falmouth under pressure with success and scored with 10 to go . With backs to the wall a young Falmouth side came through with the win , both team teams tried to play the right way and a good example of local football . Well officiated by Nigel Nichols under sometimes difficult circumstances . Thanks to Carharrack for the hospitality ?

Rnas culdrose v Pendeen rovers

anorher great performance from Pendeen in very difficult conditions the wind as always was blowing a hooly so 1st half was very hard for us playing against the wind we managed to keep culdrose chances to a very minimum and actually made a lot of chance ourself if wasn't for culdrose keeper game could have been out of sight by half time but wasn't to be in the 1st half culdrose took the lead against the run of play,2nd half we changed our game plan and used the wind to our advantage and literally camped most of the half in there half and Managed to get the break through from a corner which Rory Courtney on his debut scrambled in 10 mins later Rory his a 20 yard screamer which rattled the cross bar we kept pressing and then got our reward with another stunning strike from Rory and getting the 2nd and winning goal game played in great spirits but feel was ruined by the ref performance who didn't seem to let the game flow and then argued that it wasn't rolling subs and refused me anymore substitutions until the culdrose manager convinced him of the rule only down side to the game really but bit embarrassing for him saying he didn't know that was the rule and wasn't told about it surely as a ref he should know all the rules anyway great game and performance by us and other 3pts in our new challenge in this league

Must start by saying the welcome you get at Redruth is fantastic , no locks on the refs room ,so postman pat let us put our personal stuff in his van , Redruth were short of some regular players it in the first half you wouldn't have thought with the way they played and took the lead in two minutes , and AJ in goal pulled off two stunning saves in the first half , second half Hayle turned on the pressure and Redruth were on the back foot for most of the half ,Hayle were without a recognised keeper as  he didn't turn up so Billy donned the gloves , . overall a good game played mainly in a good way , one or two let frustration get the better of them late on , but the ref had a good game playing advantage which resulted in a Hayle goal . Good luck to Redruth for the rest of the season and look forward to the return game later on , hopefully Hayle new facilities will be up and running very soon .

Agree with pretty much all of this report. Carharrack were quick out the blocks and were cruising at 2-0. They were in complete control of the game and kept a good Falmouth Town Reserves side quiet. The second Falmouth got their first goal the whole game changed. They controlled it in every area of the pitch, with Carharrack surprisingly playing quite poor. That's taking nothing away from Falmouth who really did battle and deserved to get in to the position they did. Once Carharrack got their goal back it was a nervy last few minutes for Falmouth who did eventually hold out for the victory. Both teams had some quality players on show and I think it's fair to say that Falmouth more than deserved the 3 points in the end. Nigel Nicholls controlled the game well, didn't take any crap, could've perhaps dished out a couple more cards though.
