Andy Trathen Memorial Charity Fixture
LWC Drinks Cornwall Combination League Rep Squad v CCFA Under 18's
Thurs 28th September at Gala Park Porthleven 7.30pm ko.
Working with Andy's family plans are busily progressing for this exciting & important occasion.
One of our aims is to include a player representative from all the current Combo teams that Andy played for....there were a lot!
The clubs we think he featured in are as follows:- Porthleven, Pendeen, St Just, Helston, Mullion, St Day, Hayle, Penryn, Falmouth, St Ives, St Agnes. (Obviously there were other clubs who are no longer in the league eg Ludgvan & Penzance)
If anyone knows of any other present league member clubs he featured in or if we have anything wrong please let me know?
Martyn has a squad of 12 so far selected (including 3 family requests) and will finalise team over next couple of weeks.
There are some amazing prizes that have been donated so far which may lead to a mini-auction on the night as well as a raffle.
All proceeds will be donated to Andy's family's chosen charity CAAP.
Thank you everyone for your support so far in every way!

Had some great times playing with and against Traths over the years fell out with him while playing against ludgvan when he was boss but mates in the bar after and he played vets for me at the Dron, a pleasure to call him a mate and a well deserved tribute, well done to those organising, taking part and watching x

Thank you to everyone who supported tonight's Combo Rep Fixture at Porthleven v CCFA Under 18's in every way.
A good gate, a good game and a great raffle and auction which, subject to a few payments outstanding, raised over £2200 for CAAP in memory of Andy Trathen. The result 5-0 to the Under 18's.
Thank you to the players, managers, officials, Porthleven FC and everyone who donated and helped in every way to make the evening so absolutely fabulous!

Combo League Rep Squad Charity Fixture update: England Tickets back for sale as payment not honoured.
Following our fantastic fixture in memory of Andy Trathen and the subsequent raffle/auction we announced proceeds of just over £2200 for CAAP subject to all monies being paid.
Sadly one of the Auction Lot payments is not going to be honoured.
We are left with 2 x tickets for England v Slovenia (there are actually 4)  this Thursday 5th October 7.45pm ko Wembley) and a shortfall of the bid which was £300.
The charity are aware, understanding and just thrilled with anything they receive.
Sharon Trathen, family and I are however are not happy and doing are uptmost we can to sort the shortfall out.
So far by re-selling a few items we have re-couped about £100 of the shortfall.
If anyone would have the opportunity to use the tickets (we actually have 4) for a donation or if anyone wasn't able to make the fixture and would like to make a donation still to a great charity supporting disabled youngsters please, please get in touch.
Thank you Mandy 07974 370666
