cornish leg end
A positive comment for a ref today. Watched the pelynt v bodmin game finished 1.2 to bodmin. Pelynt playing with 10 men. Young lad ollie the ref was outstanding. Spoke to players with respect and he got.the respect back. For a young lad he handled it well and if there was a decision to be made he would explain it when made. Top performance.
danhaggett7
Pelynt 1-2 AFC Bodmin Bodmin made hard work of the 3 points today in a game we dominated. Pelynt battled hard and found themselves 1-0 up at the break when a shot was deflected into the net off Aron sturdy, giving our keeper no chance. Pelynt went down to 10 men for the 2nd half and continued to work hard, but it was pretty much attack v defence and the equaliser came from Bryn sturdy with a low drive into the bottom corner. The winning goal came with about 10 mins to go when Matt Hooper converted one of Bodmin many chances with a fine strike from 20 yards. Pelynt had a chance to equalise right on full time but the striker headed wide. Well done to pelynt for battling when you went down to 10 men, but the win was the right result for Bodmin. Also agree with Cornishlegend, the young ref done a fine job.
