Mandy K Aggiemaid
Hi Everyone Last night saw the last match of the 2016-17 Season played and the league table updated to close the season! St Agnes League Winners with Helston Runners up and Bude 3rd. Well done to everyone involved for all your efforts at keeping Ladies Football going in Cornwall! This season has seen the highest number of fixtures unplayed ever but on the positive we had the most teams enter for many seasons and a good number of players registered and fixtures played. We will be sadly saying goodbye to Mullion who will not be entering a team next season. Particularly poignant as they were the last founding member team of the league. We wish Bude and Helston good luck in their promotion to the SWWFL for next season and will welcome Illogan back as they have elected relegation. There are rumours of 2/3 new teams for next season but as always we will know more at the AGM. On that subject we look forward to seeing all teams new and existing represented at the AGM on Sunday 2nd July at St Agnes AFC at 4pm. Nominations for Committee Roles are needed so please get your thinking caps on and forward your names. Thank you. Thank you to those who have worked hard and been supportive again this season and special thanks to Beth, Zoe and especially Denzil for their contribution. Thank you to our sponsor Pirate FM. New teams or anyone interested in joining the committee for 2017/18 please contact Denzil Lobb on 01872 552091 or myself email bolsterpaper@gmail.com See you all at the AGM! We will of course forward out a reminder with a copy of our proposed SCOR and associated AGM documents in June. Hope all teams have a bit of a rest before pre-season begins.
